Batzner Pest Control

They do a good job and they are friendly. They are prompt. They come out every quarter and they come out on call also. They came out a few times because I had problems here. They were very responsive to it. I pay by the month. It is $31 a month. I have not compared the price with other people. The price is not cheap but it works. I would continue to use them in the future.

The first rep they sent had some communication issues with the tenant. Batzner stated he was newly trained, and Immediately upon my call sent him back out, along with a supervisor to make sure everything was satisfactory. The job was a much larger (pest size and number) infestation than originally thought, and they continued to return (on the one year service plan) several times throughout the week until it was under control (and will continue to come back every three months to make sure staying under control).

The work went very well. They are very knowledgeable and professional.

They guy they sent out was very efficent and did a good job. Puts the customer first.

Overall, they were very good. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were very professional. They did a thorough inspection of inside and outside the house. I would recommend them to other members also. They were prompt in coming and they were very professional. They told us what they are going to do and what they are proposed to do as a followup. We were well pleased with them. I am satisfied with their service so far and I have no complaints. Their responsiveness was very good. They came exactly when they said they would come. They were very good in answering questions. I would use their service in the future too.

They come out once in every three months. As soon as I call them, they are in a day or two. They are busy; but they are very responsive. The technician who comes out is pretty good. They show me in specific areas that need to two days and any issue that I see that they need to fix, they do it right off. They are little bit expensive.

They are certainly flexible and they easily change time to fit my schedule. They are prompt. If we see a bug, we call and they come out immediately. Their responsiveness is very good. I have been very pleased.

We worked with Batzner's for several years. In the end, we found them inflexible and overpriced. Our neighbor has worked with another local service provider for much lower costs and a long history of great service, so we ended our relationship with Batzner's. When I terminated our plan, I did not even get a call back from anyone trying to identify my concerns or to get me back on as a customer. Initially, it took many visits to control mouse entry in one corner of my house. Our technician could not figure out the problem. However, with enough squaking, a manger came out and recommended a repair project that did resolve the entry issue in that location. We have another entry area on the front side of our house, and, again, there have been multiple visits, but no resolution. They do come back, when you call, and are overall responsive. Now on to insects...... They have done a nice job with our millipede issue, carpenter ant entry and general insect invasion. We have a significant issue with box elder beetles and minor issues with Asian beetles. They ask for a very large additional payment to add box elder coverage. At $41/month, with 4 quarterly visits, you would think that for a long-standing customer, they would address the box elder problem. They wouldn't. The monthly payment plan eases the pain, but it adds up to $492/year!! Our new provider charges about $75/visit 4 times a year and will come back, as did Batzner's, if the problems continue at no extra cost. That is a savings of about $200/ year and dead box elder beetles!!

I originally contacted Batzner due to a flying ant problem this past summer. When I originally called them they were very helpful. They came and did an inspection. In the process they also found a mouse and the spots where the mouse could have entered. They gave me suggestions on how to fix those spots as well as things I could do to keep insects out of the house. They have been coming every quarter since then to treat for seasonal pests. Before I had a major problem with spiders, earwigs, and sliverfish. I have seen one spider since they started treating and no spiders or earwigs. Everyone is very friendly and they let me know what they did and what the results of each inspection are. They are prompt and arrive when they say they will. The only downside is that I had to sign up for a year of treatments which are done on a quaterly basis. At first I was only going to do one year, however I have been so pleased with the results that I will probably continue receiving the treatments after the year is over.

I signed up for a contract for a year. They identified the problem and I am going to try to caulk it. The person that came was courteous. It was a positive experience but I don't know if what they did was successful at identifying where they were coming on. They just did the work so hopefully the mice won't come back. Batzner will come back 3 more times over the year.

So far, so good with the moths, but if I do need an exterminator, you can be sure I will go to Batzner.

I have been extremely happy with Batzner for the three years we used them. Their employees are very friendly and helpful.

My technician was named Jason and he was just awesome. He actually pointed out some areas that we could handle ourselves to help prevent the spread of the ants. I was very pleased with that. They told us to call back if there are still ants after a period of time and they would come back to handle it. I liked that they stood by their work. He was very open to questions and very understanding. They accomodated our schedule.

excellent. in initial phone call i was told that it was unlikely based on the description that i have termites more possibly carpenter ants. had been getting bites on my feet/ankles he thought more likely mosquitoes than bed bugs. since pets have not had any signs of fleas that is unlikely either. told would feel better to get it checked out. was able to get a visit scheduled soon and working with my schedule. the inspector was very professional and allayed my concerns that was seeing any pests as above but said he was going to put down sticky devices to see if will show any evidence. then will come back in a week to check for no additional charge. was accommodating with my schedule to come early before i go to work so didn't have to take a day off.

A week after having a flooded basement, I noted flies in the basement in increasing numbers. The individual I spoke to on the telephone was very knowledgeable. She was able to have a service man come to my home the same evening. He arrived at 9:30 PM and examined the whole interior and exterior of the home. He discovered where the flies were entering and treated the problem. An evening call, 1 1/2 hours, all for $100. Excellent responsiveness and service.

Checked out website after seeing on Angies List. Liked what I saw regarding their view on the Environment. Talked with reprehensive at Batzner who was very helpful at helping me decided which service was best for my situation. I scheduled an appt. I vacuumed out the basement rafters before Batzner professional (Scott) came. It was a very humid hot day so I felt bad for Scott as the mosquitoes were so bad but Scott didn't complain. A few days after Scott came I did find 2 dead mice but they were outside and in garage (Scott put a container on both sides of the garage doors) so it seems to work. I haven?t found any in house since Batzner came. I did call regarding Wasps as I still was seeing some. It had only been one week and I guess it takes a full two weeks to really take effect, but they sent Scott out anyway. He re-treated the two areas I saw wasps. I am very happy with the way Batzner stands by their service. When I signed up they said ?if there was any problems, don?t hesitate to call". I called, they listened and they came out. I feel they lived up to there ?A? status on Angie?s List.

Overall the agent was very polite and professional, I thought the job was a little pricey for the amount of time it took him.

They were very prompt and no more ants after one treatment! However, if they have to access any areas of height, inform them in advance- hopefully they have appropriate ladders available. I had ants coming from the very peak of the cathedral ceiling in my living room, they had to use my ladder to reach. I did sign a 1 year contract to make sure the ants don't come back.

We haven't seen a bug or wasp/bee since the first application

We had Batzner come to our home to help rid us of a Carpenter Ant problem. They listened to our concerns and treated effectively. They also came back to our house on occassion for re-treatment.

Because it's hard to isolate the source, if any, of the colony and determine if it's inside or a "satellite" colony from a tree outside, we went with the spray treatment. Given they were here yesterday and we hadn't seen in any ants the week prior to them coming, it's too soon to tell the results, esp. for ant treatment. They know this business and you don't feel like they're trying to see you a treatment plan and sign you up for a long term contract. There was no odor at all after the did the treatment. Prompt arrival, called when they were on their way as promised, and very thorough.

I used them after I checked their ratings on Angie?s List. They have a program and I have just joined it. They put it on mouse control. We are in the country and having mice occasionally. They also take care of the bug problem which is severe.

We have a 4 season pest management service with them. They come out and check for spiders and for any kinds of pests all around and inside the house. They a survey and if there are any areas where it looks like a pest can get it, they will take care of it. They will give you a detailed service report of what they found, did and what they recommend.

It was initially $150 for the first visit. So far I have liked them very much. They are a little expensive, but they do come between visits and they are really good about that. They do the best they can to make you happy. Their customer service is really good; I've spoken with Katrina and she's really nice. Scott is the worker who comes out for the work, he does a good job and he's really good with animals. We had a bee problem and he happens to be allergic to them so that was a issue. I probably will not use them again after this year.
