Batzner Pest Control

Batzner has done a great job for us. The original issue with the carpenter ants was resolved after the first application. I have very few other bugs in my house now and that makes me very happy! They send letters and call when it's time for our services and I appreciate that. Appointments are easily made to match my schedule and the techs are always on time and friendly. We have never been pressured to "up buy" nor have we been lied to to push extra services. The original carpenter ant issues was NOT in our home and they were honest in showing us a tree that was infested instead. During one service, a tech noticed what looked like mouse activity in our basement. He spent extra time digging under the bushes in front of our house to fine an entrance hole for the mice. He blocked it and took good care (in the pouring rain!). I will continue to use Batzner and would recommend them to others.

Great people to work with in the New Berlin Office. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating with schedules. Our service tech, Kyle, does a great job.

It's been months and we have not seen another mouse. I am very happy with the job they did.

They performed the seasonal outside and inside check and sprayed for Asian beetles.

Jim B. was outstanding. He showed up on time, spent over an hour doing a thorough walk-through of the house, gave detailed explanations as to the source of the problem and potential solutions. He also gave his cell phone number so that we could call him back if we had any issues. He did a great job.

I was impressed from my first phone call. The woman who answered explained exactly what her firm could do, how they would do it, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. I had called several area pest control firms because we had a pretty serious mouse problem in a building that is not occupied on a consistent basis. Batnzer offered the most thorough and specific information. Ed the technician arrived on time and was professional the whole time. He was very thorough. He sed mesh covers over all the areas where mice were believed to have come in, and then placed at least a dozen bait traps around the house. He sprayed the area for insects (we were most concerned about wasps). He listened to and addressed all our concerned, even providing information about the chenical make-up of all the products he used. In addition to being good at his job, he was also very friendly, which is always nice. We paid for a year of service, about $500. $99 for the initial call and another $31 per month. This includes four quarterly visits and additional visits at any time we wish to address specific issues. If this firm can the mice and wasps away, the price is more than worth it to us.

They were on time, did a good job, and it worked. They had to come back because we discovered a nest we had missed. They took care of it free of charge.

Phone service for ordering is very professional. Technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Service was expensive, but effective and worth the money. Also used Batzner for indoor ant removal and had a similar experience.

, I think most of the bugs are gone now have not seen any for awhile now.Batzner came back 3 times and sprayed no extra charge.They also sprayed in June 2013 outside the house as I have the BAN contract for the year.Very friendly service man and the ladys that answer the phone are helpful in setting an appointment.

After two calls, I finally reached someone who scheduled a technician to come to our home today between 12 and 5 pm. I was told they would call first -- but this inconvenient time span kept us captive the entire afternoon. Sadly, no one called and no one came and siince we have a somewhat urgent insect problem, we are very unhappy now to be facing the weekend without any movement forward with this issue. Update: 7/20 technician came on a Saturday to help us with our issue. Very personable and apologetic about yesterday"s problem. So, we no longer are upset. Will have them provide service and review once they are finished. Final note: service completed (took from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm) Only problem -- he neglected to move the box with our candles outside and they had to be discarded.

Details of service were thoroughly explained. Initial call handled professionally and very courteously Technician visit also professional and courteous Only small downside was that technician was very talkative. If you're busy, let him know.

The prices are kind of high. They do their job and walk around and put traps up. They were friendly, nice, and told us what they were doing.

They told us what they were going to do and they did it. It completely solved our problem. I would use them again.

My experience began with a phone call from a consultant, Kim, who was just excellent. She was friendly, knowledgable and very sympathetic. She explained all details of the first visit -- the initial treatment -- and scheduled that visit within the same week. The team member who provided the initial treatment -- Jon -- arrived right on time and was very friendly and explained everything he would be doing for the next 2-2.5 hours. He answered all my questions and provided a detailed listing of all areas treated and all environmentally-friendly products used in the treatment. I was happy to learn that Jon would stay with us long term and was only a phone call away should any pest problems surface that needed immediate attention. The treatment was effective immediately and we are ant-free in the kitchen and have not seen any creepy crawlers since the treatment. There is quarterly maintenance done and the maintenance fee is spread over each month so it is a significant investment. But as Jon says, you are buying "peace of mind." Makes sense. I highly recommend Batzner.

Nice work. The technician was prompt, efficient and left us with great suggestions. We had mice and insects. The mice issue was tricky but mostly solved. The incest issue diappeared.

They come to us three times a year. Their service price is probably average. I like the fact that they call when they are going to come and do an outside service which we do not have to be home for. They are very flexible for their inside service. Their service really works.

The people are really professional and really know what they’re doing. I have been really happy with them and have used them several times in the past

Seems good so far - they were very clear that this wouldn't completely rid our house of the bugs but will have them back in spring once the snow melts and they can spray outside the house too.

It was excellent and the price was fair. I think they really investigate and try to find out what the problem is. He was down in my basement for a couple of hours just looking around until he found the solution and I was impressed with that. He wasn't going to leave until he found the answer.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable on pests and treatment. We went with them specifically do to their high ratings on Angie's List.

They were very prompt and professional. Also very thorough during home examination and covering all the options. Did not feel pressured to use their services and they gave me options and ideas I could do on my own at no cost. Overall I thought using their professional services made the most sense. They followed up after the initial rodent problem and came back promptly when the initial effort did not eliminate the problem. There was no charge and no hassle when I requested a follow up visit. They even sent a technician and a manager to check out the situation when mice were still getting in after the exclusion. Their personnel are very friendly and do a good job explaining what they are doing. I rate them very high on their knowledge and professionalism. They probably are not the cheapest service, but they are very thorough, therefore I do feel their price is a good value.

I was not here when they did the work, but the gentleman did call me to let me know when he would be there and said it was not required for me to be there. They left the contract in my mailbox. They were able to get rid of the nests and so far nothing has came back. They said that if the nests came back, they would come back out to re-spray and treat again at no additional costs. I would definitely call them again if needed. They cleaned up everything when done as well. I was very pleased when I came home.

The first guy came out and walked around the house with a mirror and stuffed some holes with copper mesh pads, plugged some holes in the garage where my wife told him we had seen mice coming in. Probably spent less than an hour, my wife was a bit perturbed that was all they were going to do for $300 and thought it was a rip off, but I figured if it fixed the problem, what the heck. But about two weeks later, I am in my basement and notice more mouse droppings and I lookup and see sunlight coming in from the top of the basement wall. So I investigated further and found the thumb sized wad of copper mesh the guy had put in had fallen out. So I called them on a Monday, the earliest they could come out again was a Friday. This time I was home and spoke with the person they sent out. My wife thought that this guy was a lot more professional and seemed to know his stuff, and I agreed. He asked me what the situation was and I explained. He was surprised that the previous guy had not come into the house at all to assess the situation. This person did come in and look up in our attic for a few minutes and then proceeded to walk around the house and plugged more holes that he found the previous had not plugged or had not plugged well enough to last a couple of weeks. Not sure how long this will last, its only been a few days, but I think it is working better than last time. We are hearing mice scratching a lot more than before which probably means that they are looking for a way out and not able to get out. Something they had told us would happen. In retrospect, I think I would have been a lot better off just hiring a handyman for a day to go around plug the holes with something more substantial than copper mesh that will sooner or later deteriorate and provide the same opening. Call Batzner was overkill and a waste of their time and my money. $300 would have been enough to pay a handyman for a the better part of the day. Instead i got an hours worth of time on what is probably a temporary fix. Having been a consultant and worked by the hour quite a bit, I was not happy with what I got. But live and learn...
