I'm really happy with them, they did a really good job and I'm going to continue to use them. I'm happy that the owner came out and didn't leave it to the technicians. He gave me some good advice because I had to replace a couple of trees. They also cleaned up nicely. Very professional and prompt. I used some coupons and was very happy with the work at a very good price.

Both tree trimmers arrived on time. They were all qualified.. They willingly answered all of my questions and did a superb job job on trim and I was more than satisfied with their work. I will use this service in the future.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for $125 for $250 worth of services. This was the first time I purchased a Big Deal coupon. Everything went fine on site and I was very pleased with the work. It took a few calls back and forth to get some of the questions I had addressed related to the estimate, which totaled $350. I had hoped to only spend the amount of the coupon ($125) and would have liked to have the job adjusted to accommodate that. I felt meeting with the estimator when he came out to the house would have facilitated that. Unfortunately, he came out without calling me to coordinate (as requested) so I could be there with him. I didn't get cost comparisons from other companies since I had already purchased the coupon, therefore I really don't have any basis for determining whether I got a great deal. The person sent out to do the job was friendly, responsive to my question, addressed items I felt needed more attention (trimming) and hauled away all debris. The trees look so much better.

Very responsive. Cleaned up debris but left larger pieces for firewood, as requested would not hesitate to use again or to recommend.

The person in the office with whom I scheduled the appointment was very friendly and kind. They were able to come out and give an estimate without my being present. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication on the box tree in the back, so the estimate was incorrect for which tree. Regardless, the person at the office was able to let me know that an estimate would be given at time of service and I could decide at that time. She let me know it would be based on time. On the day that they came out, the gentleman was friendly and kind. He was understanding and great with my curious 3-year old. He was cautious with us at the same time. I forgot to take my car out of the garage before he started, but he was not bothered when I told him and he worked quickly to move the branches and help me get out. A second person came and the two of them worked swiftly. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up and everything was done as said. Regarding the tree in the back, they told me that it honestly took them less than 5 minutes to take care of it, so they were kind enough to not charge me for that work. I was so impressed with the work they did, the caution that they took, the clean up, their personable nature and being right on the estimate which was so well detailed that I would definitely use them again.

The trimmers came in when I was not at home, but they did a good job of trimming and cleaning up.

The tree specialist was efficient, careful and did an excellent job. They cleaned up all the branches.

American Tree Expers came out shortly after I called. They did an excellent job. The tree looks very nice now. Not only did he do it expertly, but he gave me an estimate on all the work that needed to be done without asking. I appreciated that and I would call again.

The work was done quickly and without any danage to my lawn or landscaping.

Obtained value coupon through email sent to us by Angie's List. Very satisfied with all aspects of the services provided. Didn't realize how much things would be improved by what we had done. The entire crew was very professional. There was one job that didn't appear to be done well, but when I contacted the company to raise that issue, the response was quick and the problem was corrected at no additional cost. They told me they were sorry to hear I was unhappy. I told them that I wasn't unhappy because when I raised the issue, they responded quickly and effectively. If they hadn't handled it that way, then I would have been unhappy. I have already contracted with them to address some springtime issues. Based on how they have performed thus far, I would have no problem in recommending them to others.

The limb overhung my home, and they performed the work without issue.

I called for an estmate to remove 9 arbor vitaes from around our deck, 2 really large arbor vitaes removed from the sides of our shed, a spruce tree in the front yard, 7 arbor vitaes along our driveway and trimming and treatment of the ash tree in the back yard. Jessie came out in only a couple days to provide the estimate and spent time with my husband going over each of the points. The estimate was broken out in sections so we could decide what work to do this year and what would have to be postponed until next year. My husband was very impressed with his professionalism. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted done besides the very ugly spruce tree in the front yard. We decided to remove the arbor vitaes around the deck because they had grown to the point of encroaching on the siding on the second floor because it protrudes farther out than the first floor. We wanted the two on the sides of the shed removed for the same reason. We decided to leave the arbors along the drive which Jessie recommended because he felt it defined the house and he was right. The ash will also wait until next year. After returning the signed bid we ran into a delay in the getting the work done because of all the storms in June and early July. This gave me time to decide to add more arbor vitaes to the removal list. The ones along the lot line were a pain because the previous owner also planted a row of buckthorns for privacy creating an annoying issue when mowing, dodging the arbors which were encroaching on the buckthorns. I called and spoke to Jessie's brother who explained those would be added at an hourly rate. He also explained they were very busy and was very apologetic. Having seen the damage from the storms in our area, we understood competely. When they crew arrived to do the cutting, it was at least 90 degrees. They would work for awhile and then take a brief break in the shade of their truck and drink water. I offered them a break in the house with air conditioning but they declined. They did accept a cold soda about mid morning. As they were working in the backyard, they asked me to come out because they wanted to be sure about some of the work. If they removed one of the arbor vitaes it would significantly limit our privacy. They said if I really wanted them to take it out, they would, but thought it should stay. They were right and I greatly appreciate that they asked before plowing ahead. They removed the tree and more than a dozen arbor vitaes in just a few hours of very extreme heat, hauling all of it to the street where the chipper was parked. There was no brush left when they were done and the yard looked great. They explained the person who did the stumping might not get out that day, but would get there soon. That was my only disappointment with the company. It was more than 2 weeks before he came out and did the stumping and he was not as neat as the first crew. The company states the chips will be left in smooth spots over the removal areas. He left mounds near the areas but did no smoothing. We had to do it ourselves. But the professionalism of Jessie, his brother and the first crew far outweighed that and we will definitely use the again.

Entire job completed while at work; never met contractor face-to-face.

American Tree Experts Inc came to give an estimate. Within 2 days they communicated with Wisconsin Electric because some trees were in lines. This huge job took only one day and the yard was left clear of all debris. A major job.

Both excellent - on time, down was fast, date I wanted, good clean up. Sycamore treatment - tree looks very healthy now.

He basically said he didn't want the work for $250.00. I feel he should have put this in the Big Deal.

Called them originally because we noticed carpenter ants in our maple tree. When they came out to look at that we also had them give us an estimate on trimming the willow trees. The injection for the ants was done immediately. The trimming was done later as they had to wait until our yard dried out some as we are in a low spot. When they did come they put down boards so there large equipment would not tear up our yard. On one tree they could not use their equipment because it was still too wet so they had to climb the tree. They were very professional, cleaning up all debris. Our trees look great!!

Our tree expert arrived on time and finished in a little over an hour. Both trees looked great after he finished with them. All debris was removed and taken away.

I saw a coupon for services from American Tree Experts so gave them a call. I received a return call the same afternoon and Jesse arrived the next afternoon and gave an estimate. He was very knowlegeable and professional. He explained they were busy so might be 2-3 weeks before job could be done. Within a week I received a call thet they were coming the next day. In the meantime we had a storm which knocked down another large tree and some branches. When the 3 workmen arrived, I asked if they might be able to remove the other tree and branches. He called and informed me the whole job could be done. This was a very difficult job because it was on a steep slope behind my house. They spent 31/2 hours non-stop and cleaned up everything. I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone.

It went great. No problems. Would hire them again or recommend them to anyone!

The work didn’t turn out very well. They left tree branches and some of the brush around and we weren’t happy they had come back and clean up the mess that they had made.

The work was fine as far as I know.

I end to call them back next spring to do some more tree service work for us. They are very helpful. Shortly after their work, there was a terrific wind storm and some our neighbors lost branches, but we didn't have any troubles at all.

They are a family owned business. The work turned out very good. The cost was phenomenally low considering the quality of work that they did. I have had no problems. They do perfect executive and they have reasonable billing.
