Description of Work: We locked ourselves out of the house and called on a saturday morning. He was very responsive and came within 20 minutes. Unlocked the door very fast and without damaging the lock / door. Overall very satisfied with the service. Would definitely recommend.

 + -1 moreHe called to alert me he was on the way and arrived on time for the scheduled time. He worked quickly and accurately. Each lock worked flawlessly when he was done. He explained that a per lock cost would have been very expensive and he charged me for his time and one mechanism that was broken. I was impressed by his professionalism.
Description of Work: Michael McNew rekeyed my entire home back to needing only one key (divorce situation--I was give 8 keys for the property). He did 12 lock sets. Many we're double sided dead bolts. He also reset two padlocks to use the house key.

 + -1 moreOk, first the facts. I called a different locksmith on Monday at 9:00am. They said they would have the guy there within 30 minutes. After 3 phone calls to the technician who kept stating that and quot;he was just finishing up a job and would be right thereand quot; and two calls to their home office, the guy finally showed up at 3:00! Then he gave me some bull about not being able to access the Ford Keying System, but he could get around it for a total charge of $175.00. He said that he would have access to this and quot;systemand quot; on Thursday and then he bill would only be $125.00. But the car would obviously not be useable in a family of 4 drivers in the Summer!!!!! I called Affordable Locksmith, and told the other guy to not bother, because his poor service just cost him a client and an angry one at that!
Description of Work: I lost the keys to our 1993 Mercury Capri and Mike came out within 30 minutes and re-created a replacement key in just a few minutes. I was amazed and it only cost $100.

Description of Work: Installed dead bolt locks on two doors and inserted metal panels so that the doors could not be easily kicked in.
