Description of Work: DCM gave us a quote for a seawall to be completed in July 2014. We gave them a 50% downpayment or $4500. They did not complete the job. In the fall, while building our home we needed a retaining wall (for a walkout basement). We asked DCM to build the wall. When it was completed they gave us a price of $2400. They used some of our down payment to cover this cost. This spring we attempted to contact DCM again to find out when they planned to complete the seawall. They were unable to give us a definitive time frame. After multiple attempts to reach them, with no return phone calls, we asked to have our contract voided and to have the remaining down payment returned to us. It was at that time that DCM informed us that they didn't owe us any money. That the retaining walls they built for us in the fall totaled $4600 and that we actually owed them money! We reminded them of their $2400 quote but they denied ever giving us this number even though we have it in writing.
