+ -1 moreHe (Michael) is a sub-contractor for Sears.com purchases on microwaves over-the-range. What a pain this has been with Sears and this MGC company. Not to mention, a total rip off. He was to install the new one, but he could not do it on the same day. He had said a modified cabinet had to be built to accommodate the new one. I don't think so. Additionally, he had wanted to charge me $290.40 + $129.99 (Sears.com) = $419.39. I had to call Sears about it and 2 other contractors. From my description they had said it's an $80 job (i.e. straight forward, no complications really). I will say that Michael had shown up on time, was courteous and had removed the old microwave nicely. I told him to keep $65 for his fees for that and send me my $225.40 check back. His pricing is unbelievably distorted. Way high compared to others and it was supposed to be covered by Sears.com $129.99 installation fees. Imagine that, a cost near that of what I had paid for the new microwave ($450.00).
Description of Work: I bought a new, same dimensions over-the-range microwave to be installed after an existing one from Sears.com. This was already paid on line, to be a $129.99 installation job through Sears.com.
