Bob and Lisa run an awesome landscaping company. I had them plant trees and shrubs over 1170 square feet on my new home property. Bob was personally there the entire time of the project and was actually working on prepping the beds. Their prices are also the lowest I encountered (I had 5 different bids from other landscaping companies). I am extremely pleased with their hardwork and will definitely use them in the future.

We needed a wind break as well as a privacy screen from our neighbors. After searching online for Nursery's, Lambs and two others showed up in Muskego. I called the other two first and visited one of them, but I didn't get the feeling they were interested in helping me find precisely what I needed, just that they would be willing to sell me whatever I picked out. Not having any knowledge of landscaping or what would really be best for our situation, I didn't feel comfortable with either of them. I spoke to Bob at Lambs briefly on the phone, and the next time I decided to stop in and then met with Lisa. When I told her what I was looking to accomplish, she started to go through the different types of trees we could use, width, height, typical growth, etc. Finally I was getting the service and expertise I was looking for. Then we drove down the road to their field so I could see the actual trees to help make my decision. After taking some pictures and discussing things with my wife, we decided on the Pyramidal Arborvitae between 6 and 7 feet tall. A few days later I returned and Lisa took me back out to the field to pick the trees we were buying and to choose which side would be facing our yard. She tagged them, and a week or two later Bob and his crew came out and planted them. While he was there, he made additional recommendations for a mulch bed along the property line. We decided to have that done, too, and Bob had it done right away. The trees and mulch all look great. We're so happy with the trees that we plan on putting a small paver patio and a nice set of lawn chairs near them so we can relax and enjoy them over the summer. We had Lamb's come out a second time after this to install additional Pyramidal Arborvitaes, and I plan on calling them this week to get on the schedule to do some more as well as some other plantings. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Install eleven 6' to 7' Pyramidal Arborvitae and a mulch bed along the property line.

Originally this was a positive review. Now, after 2 years, (15) of the 12 foot Arborvitae Pyramidals are dead. I had a 40 year local Arborist come out and look at the trees a year after they were planted. He stated that they were planted to low and in a "gully" between my house and the neighbors thus suffocating the trees with water every time its rained. He stated whenever you plant arborvite in clay, you either treat the clay so it breaks down or you plant the tress 4" about grade which is roughly where the root bulb is for this tree. It is now Sept 2, 2014, and I have all dead brown trees, not just brown on the tips, but thoughly brown without any hint of green or life, the branches and needles fall off in my hands. I will be cutting down all these 12 foot trees in a few days and taking to the dump.
Description of Work: Planted (17) 12 foot Arborvitae Pyramidal, (2) 3" base 15 foot sugar maples and (1) burning bush.

I had not heard of Lamb's Nursery until I saw a LivingSocial deal for them. I gave it a shot. Turns out they have a great price on mulch. When I bought it the price was $25 if you picked it up or $32 delivered (I think there was a 2 or 3 yard minimum on deliveries). They were great! I showed up, they told me where to park the truck, and loaded me up. I was in and out in minutes. I needed to make two trips and both were quick and efficient. The mulch is very good quality. I will continue to use Lamb's Nursery in future years to refresh the mulch.
Description of Work: Loaded 2.5 yards of mulch into my truck (needed two trips).

This was the second time I used Lambs. First project was in 2010 and this project was in Fall of 2011. The work is very well done at the most competitive price in the Muskego, New Berlin, Franklin and Waukesha area. I had the design done by a landscaping firm in Waukesha and simply gave those drawn plans to Lamb's for the two projects to work off of. One of the great things was that they didn't simply work off of the plans. They made additional suggesstions such as the shape of the new flower bed and the recommendation to eliminate some of the shrubs/perrennials that were shown in the design. There work is extremely well done and I have absolutely no complaints in regards to the work. One of the other nice things is that you can't really tell that they did the work. The cleanup is done very very well. The only low grades but still a strong B is the communication/responsiveness. Often times it takes an extra phone call or two in order to get things moving but other than that a high A grade for the rest. The B in responsiveness is definitely worth it when you examine the quality of the work compared to the pricing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
