+ -1 moreWe were very happy with Kowalkowski plumbing. He is very courteous and hard working. He was conscientious in protecting our house from debris. He made sure the job was done right and did a thorough clean up. The price was very fair. We would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We needed a new water heater on short notice. Kowalkowski Plumbing was recommended by a friend of ours. I called and spoke to a woman who took my information, and I received a callback very shortly after from Andy K. He arranged to have a new water heater installed the next day. He offered the model #, price, and and an upgrade advice- which we took. He was very polite-I appreciated that he answered my (probably silly) questions thoughtfully. The elder Mr. Kowalkowski arrived 30min early the following day. He and his assistant were professional, considerate of our living space, and efficient. They had to rework some piping from a previous installation and did not charge extra for that! When they finished, the area was clean. The work they did looked solid and professional. The old water heater was removed at no charge. I would highly recommend Kowalkowski Plumbing and will certainly hire them again if needed.

Description of Work: I needed a gas line ran from my basement to my outside deck. Kowalkowski came and looked at the job on time as scheduled. I had to call him twice to get the quote, but he nicely explained about how busy he was. It was well worth the wait. He came to my house at the scheduled time and did an oustanding, professional job. Without a doubt I will be calling him for any plumbing issues I may need in the future.

+ -1 moreThe service was great. He was quick and encountered a makeshift repair which he resolved right away. He also took off the shower head and was able to clean it, reusing the same one, instead of replacing it. He was punctual, pleasant, did the job quickly and efficiently.

+ -1 moreMr. Kowalkowski came out to the house and fixed both faucets in under an hour. Excellent service and significantly less than I thought I was going to spend. Definitely would call again.
Description of Work: I have a 35 year old house and both exterior faucets were unable to be shut off from the outside, they would just keep leaking. We were also unable to shut them off completely at the inside shutoffs, so we had a problem.

+ -1 moreThey're very responsive to your calls. We have also used them at our church, and they're always there. They answer your calls right away. If you get an answering machine, they call you back within an appropriate amount of time.
Description of Work: They came out for a plugged sink. On another occasion, they came for a leaking toilet.

Description of Work: Installed toilet and pedestal sink that we provided, replaced hot and cold water pipe for bathroom fixtures during bathroom remodel, including piping in wall and basement. New bathroom faucet, and replaced cast iron water pipes in basement from below bathroom to water heater. Included plumbing permits.

+ -1 moreI OVER PRESSURIZED MY WATER TANK. HE FIGURED OUT THAT I MUST HAVE KNOCKED RUST LOOSE FROM THE PIPES AND THE RUST CLOGGED THE PIPES. HE CLEARED THE RUST OUT. HE ALSO RESET THE PRESSURE READINGS ON THE TANK. IT HAD BEEN 30/50 AND HE CHANGED IT TO 40/60, INCREASED THE PRESSURE. I HATE A WEAK STREAM OF WATER, SO IT WAS NICE TO HAVE GREATER PRESSURE. I THINK HE IS CHEAPER THAN OTHER PLUMBERS. I THINK HE TRIED TO GET A GOOD PRICE ON PARTS. HE DOESN'T DO MORE THAN WHAT IS NECESSARY.
