Kris did a fantastic job on our recent interior painting work! We spoke with him to arrange an estimate on a Saturday morning for painting two bedrooms; he was flexible with times, arrived exactly when he said he would, and was very friendly. He emailed us the quote the next day as promised, and once we decided to go forward, he was able to perform the work a couple days later. Kris and his assistant moved all of the furniture out of one bedroom (the other was unfurnished), removed all electrical plates, and taped/protected all doors/baseboards/etc. They paid excellent attention to detail, including cleaning up past paint spots on trim from the previous owner's paint job and creating an immaculate line between the ceiling and walls. The final result looks absolutely perfect. We used Kris because his price was reasonable and he was able to perform the work quickly, but we'd use him again in a second based on the quality of the work he did.

We recently completed an addition to our home including a new master bath and a huge walk in closet. Chris was instrumental in completing that renovation and I wrote a review for his work in that project as well as painting a majority of our home inside. He also did some outside painting in the course of that project. We immediately thought of him for our next project, a 20x20' workout room in a portion of our unfinished basement. The job included turning a bare cement floored section of our basement into a nicely finished and enjoyable exercise area complete with an entertainment system. Chris' part in the project was mostly the finer details of spray painting the entire ceiling, installing trim and staining doors. While he was here I also added some new tasks which Chris happily accepted and completed in his typical honest and cheerful manner. Chris is a superb worker and man. He is honest, hardworking, thorough and professional. I cannot say enough for him and the perfection in his work. We will be using his services for years to come. What can I say, I am overwhelmed and impressed with him! If you want the job dome right the first time and at a reasonable price, Chris is your man. In short...for whatever project you are undertaking, CHRIS IS YOUR MAN!

The whole project went very well. Kris and Rafel do outstanding work. I had hired them in October 2011 for two separate remodeling projects. Kris did an excellent job, spending a long day prepping the surface and making the necessary repairs. He is really a craftsman and seemed genuinely invested in having the house look perfect (including painting some flashing that had drip from previous painters and can only be seen from the upper windows) and paying the inner wall of our sun room which I hadn't even considered. Everything was neat and clean when he was done (our bat-house and outdoor thermometers reinstalled) and the house looks great. I would have no hesitation about hiring him for high-quality remodeling, apparently he does much more than painting. Based on the quality of the painting job have asked him to put me on his schedule to rescreen, repair and paint our large outdoor porch.

Kris and his helper did a fantastic job painting the interior of our home. His work is professional, prompt, courteous, and exact. He is very easy to work with, he listened to our concerns and desires and was amazing in making them come true. The house looks fantastic. We added some extra work to the job in the middle of the project and he took care of it without any issues. We will use him again, without hesitation. Overall he is quick, efficient and effective.

We hired KJ Services in June of 2012. We were extremely pleased with the work he and his helper did for us. They cleaned and stained our cedar house, painted trim, cleaned and sealed the deck, repaired a windowsill, and scraped and painted our chimney cap. Kris came when he said he would and quickly followed up with his quote, which turned out to be the best of the five we received. He was so easy to deal with – always replied immediately to our phone calls. Work started exactly when he said it would and all the work was finished sooner than expected. Although the weather was unbearably hot, they worked steadily every day. Those two rarely would even take a break! They were very neat and always cleaned up after themselves. We needed to hire only someone that would provide us with proof of insurance, as advised by our Homeowners’ Insurance Company. Kris does carry the proper insurance, and we promptly received an e-mail from his insurance agent with the needed document. We were more than pleased with the work done by KJ Services. In fact, when the weather turns too cold to work outdoors, we are hoping to have him back to do some interior finishing projects. We strongly recommend KJ Services for painting, staining, and other household repairs.

It was very good. The price was good and it was one of the reasons that we chose them.

Kris was great to work with. He was very professional and did a fantastic job on the backsplash tile project in my kitchen. He called me back immediately after my initial call. He provided a quick estimate and always called to tell me when he would be arriving. He cleaned up the project and followed up with a call to see if everything was satisfactory. I have recommended KJ Services to two friends who have also used him and LOVED his work. Don't hesitate to use KJ Services.

Kris and his helper did a great job repairing some drywall problems and painting two rooms. They promptly returned my initial phone call and showed up on time to do the estimate. They completed the work early and at the agreed upon price. They did a nice job of cleaning up and returning the furniture when they were done.Will definitely call them in the future.

Kris was absolutely amazing! He came out and completed a bid the day after I first called him. From there he was scheduled to start work within 2 weeks. He painted the inside of our house including our vaulted living room ceilings. Kris even fixed our trim by scraping off old paint the previous homeowner left. He was very reliable and prompt. Kris is very particular with his work and took off all of our kitchen cabinet doors to paint the ceiling (I've never heard of a painter doing this). He worked from room to room, not starting the next one before the previous one was finished. Kris cleaned up every day when he left. He was wonderful and we even added rooms that we didn't plan on having painted because his work was so good. We have him scheduled to paint the exterior of our home when the weather gets nice. As a side note, we were having moisture problems in our master bathroom. Kris talked to a friend of his who said that it may be an issue with insulation in our attic. Kris actually crawled up into the attic to evaluate this! Amazing!!

As always, it went great. Kris was ALWAYS on time, he ALWAYS was there on days he said he would be there, and if there was ANY problems at all, he let me know right away. He likes to start a job, stick with it, and finish the job before he moves to the next job. Much different than most contractors who like to have many jobs going at once, and you only get them to come out sporadically. He helped me to solve problems such as building a level platform as part of a washer/dryer cubby to solve the issues with the floors sloping into the drain. He took pieces of carpeting left over from a 15 year old remodel and pieced them together very nicely so that they would blend with the rest of the existing carpeting. He did a very nice job matching the new trim to the existing trim so that the laundry area looks like it really belongs with the rest of the space.

KJ Services was a major part of this reconstruction process under the management of Steve Marino Construction Management Corp. Kris and Steve have a wonderful working relationship and a great work crew. The process started out like a nightmare in my mind...but KJ Services has this work ethic that would put any customer at ease. The cleanliness and care they took of my home like it was their very own. They made the project proceed with no stress on my part. My home is back to normal in 14 working days...

Kris and his crew arrived each day by 8:00 AM> They immediately got to work and stayed on the job at least until 5:00 PM.The job site was immaculate after each day.. Kris' tile work, painting and other talents make for an easy remodel project. I am beyond pleased!!! Mrs. R

I cannot say enough good things about Chris. He not only does an excellent job (we have used him three times over the last two years) but he is unbelieveably professional. He is such a professional and perfectionist, and the cost is very reasonable. He even moved some of the furniture, added some base boards (and painted) and then made sure all of the little details were completed in the room. He did all of this and did not charge any extra. Completed the job early and it is just great. I highly recommend Chris for painting, and all handyman work.

His estimate was very reasonable and was able to start in less than a week - a big plus for me. He and his team carefully removed all closet doors and shelving and then painted the walls and ceilings. He even helped cover up a bad spot on one wallpapered wall. Without being asked he also touched up the wrought iron railings and covered up a few bad spots on one of the garage walls. Carpeting was then installed and he came back to put back the closet doors and California closet shelves that needed to be removed for the carpet installation along with some touchup for marks on the walls from the installation. The quality of his work was outstanding and he was very pleasant and cooperative. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend him to anyone. Kris promptly provided his quote, gave an estimated start date, and started on time. He was not the least expensive, but I definitely got what I paid for. He was clear about when he would arrive each day, and cleaned up before leaving. Kris and his partner worked their way systematically around the house, hand-painting everything with two coats. They were careful about ensuring the sun, heat and moisture would not cause a problem with the paint's integrity. I'm confident that no other painter could have done a better job. During the railing job, we encountered an issue with how the original posts were installed; they were extremely weak, and because they were installed on the outside edge of the deck, they would not properly accommodate the post sleeves in the system I chose. Kris removed the old posts, cut holes in the floor boards, and installed new posts which are attached to the inside edge of the deck skirt supports. The result is a cleaner look, and a sturdier railing. Kris was an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his partner are reliable, skilled, and attentive to detail. They take pride in their work, and do everything possible to make sure the job is done well and correctly. I would absolutely recommend KJ Services to anyone I know, and will not hesitate to hire Kris again.

This is the second time I've hired Kris, and he did a great job, just like last time. Communication was good, he and his guys left the place cleaner than they found it, and the apartments look great.

Kris cam promptly and gave me a good estimate. Scheduled the work and he promptly did the job. We had removed wallpaper prior to calling him and damaged the drywall surface, Chris recoated and primed and painted as needed. Did an excellent job, can't see where it was patched. Was very professional, neat and helpful. Would call him again anytime I needed painting done.

I needed many various jobs done in my basement rec room, which was desperately in need of a facelift. Kris started the job about 2 weeks after coming by to take a look. He showed up every day precisely on time and worked full days until the job was done. Kris is meticulous with his work, and takes much pride in doing it right. His painting is impeccable. He is more than just a "Jack of all trades"; rather he is a master of many things and a consumate problem solver. When I discovered a gaping hole in my ductwork after the ceiling was removed, after a bit of pondering, he was able to patch it effectively even though it was in a very tough spot to reach. He cleaned up after himself every day, remained cheerful and enthusiastic throughout, and kept detailed records of his time and materials. I will definitely hire Kris again and again!

It went great. I called Kris with an immediate need to prepare the condo to be shown the following morning. Kris was extremely responsive. He said he would pool his resources after completing a job that same day, and arrive at the end of the day, and stay until the job was done. He arrived earlier than expected and was finished earlier than expected. When he left, the condo was in "showing" condition." Talk about a life saver. Kris really came through for me, in a difficult circumstance and absolutely no lead time. For those who have seen the commercial slogan "one call, that's all", well thats Kris.

Kris and his guys did a great job. They were quick, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves. The apartment looks great now, and they did it at a good price.

I don't know that I would have found better quality service than I received from KJ Services. During the course of work, I could not find even a single minor flaw. Kris's work was so meticulous I was convinced he had a natural talent for perfection. He made certain the work he did would make anyone proud, especially himself. After the first day he called me to ask how I thought things were going and if the work met my expectations. He regularly explained to me, everything he was doing. He completed the work as if it were his own home. And Kris faced some challenges, not of his own making, that he faced head on and overcame. I used a very light custom color paint over an existing very dark blue. Some of it required primer and three coats (his standard is always two coats). I also asked for a "ceiling white" in all rooms and closets. The transition from the ceiling white to the custom color walls was absolutely perfect. Kris made this my "new home" with the work he did. There were more "extras" that Kris provided that I am really happy with. Any minor problem with the existing drywall, he made sure to repair without being asked. That included an unintentional mistake from another contractor. Kris also really helped me a lot with both the paint sheen as well as the paint quality. Without his advice, I would have made poor judgement in both areas. I very much respected his advice, but he only offered it as options, and made clear the final decision should be mine. I'm really happy I went with his advice. Other "extras" included removing three large box style valance window treatments which did not fit with my new decor. And in error, I failed to ask Kris to remove the hardware for the valances. It was only after he had finished the job that I thought to ask him to take out the hardware. That meant more drywall patching and painting the areas again, of course with two coats. A last minute request was to have Kris install new kitchen cabinet handles. He didn't even blink, he just did it. And to top it off, he provided some necessary hardware he had readily on hand that was again my error. I'm sure there are things here that I've missed. But that is simply consistent with the service and quality provided by KJ Services. Who do you know want's to get their home painted? Call KJ Services!

Kris is excellent to work with. Contacted Kris and made an appointment for him to look the job over on Wednesday, he gave me the estimate, and said he would be there Saturday morning. He was there on time and did a great job of painting. I would recommend him to anyone! This is the second time I have used him for different jobs within the past 6 months.

Kris needed to fix some painting done by another company that was done poorly. He did a fantastic job with a difficult situation. The work he did where he was the original painter is amazing! Kris is a very hard worker.
