I contacted High Quality Contracting in regards to having them provide an estimate for repairing some drywall that was damaged due to leaks in both the dining room and kitchen. After about a week of back and forth that included scheduling a walk through of the damage, getting an estimate, and scheduling service, we had a date for repair. About a week after that, HQC showed up with a crew to get to work on the repairs. The crew was professional, well mannered, and adept at their trade. All told, it took about 4 hours start to finish, which included ripping out the old drywall, patching in the new drywall, and texturing the ceilings. They prepped both rooms and hung / put down plastic everywhere to protect all of our belongings, and got right to work. I was surprised it only took 4 hours, and when they were finished, they cleaned everything up very nicely. After signing a couple of papers for the work done, they were out and I was very pleased with results. Even my father (who has been a contractor for 40 years) was impressed with how well they blended the old drywall with the new. Overall, very happy with High Quality Contracting, and would definitely use them for future projects.

We called Nick in August to discuss the need for new windows and some other changes we would like to make to our home. He met with us several times to discuss our options. We are very satisfied with the work he did. His crew is very conscientious providing a quality finished product. We had constant contact with Nick as he set up appointments for us to meet with vendors for windows and tiling. Projects were completed as promised. What we liked was Nick's involvement and his inspection after each stage of construction was completed. We would highly recommend High Quality Contracting Inc. for any building need. At this time we are waiting for an estimate to have our home insulated.

They were very good in communication. The crew was very respectful of the house. The job was of good quality and I thought it was pretty fair price. They were very responsive and the cleanup was great.

Overall it went well. This was the best price out there. I was concerned that I might get what I paid for but it ended up being a good decision. Nick had a good crew and good subcontractors. He fit us in in-between outdoor jobs and finished it by our deadline. The quality of work was good. Especially the drywallers who did a lot of drops and some special work around a difficult area. Best drywall job I've seen in awhile. Finish work was good. Other than a couple of areas that were missed. Nick did a good job of having his guy come back when I made him aware. If you're ever thinking about finishing your basement, don't hesitate! It is such a nice area that I wish I would've had done years ago.

We signed contract in mid-August but needed to delay work until some landscaping that we had ordered was completed. Other delays occurred due to weather. Nick kept in contact on a weekly basis until we found date that worked. He and his crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date and kept at the job until it was done. One shutter arrived damaged from the company so Nick sent it back. He made sure that the correct holes were made by the window to accept the re-ordered shutter so that anyone form his crew could stop by and install it once they received it. All of the other work was done in less than one day due to the nice size of the crew. Everyone on the crew were very pleasant and neat. The re-ordered shutter arrived in less than 7 days and was promptly installed,

Nick Wegner of High Quality Contracting sent Matt to take care of my bathroom problems. He is highly qualified and very professional. He went about the work efficiently and I couldn't be happier with the result. We've been meaning to do this work for some time but until I "discovered" Angie's List, I had no idea who to contact that I could trust to not only do the work but do it right. Nick has overseen the work on my roof, as well as various jobs inside repairing ice dam damage to walls and ceilings as well as leaks in the roof. Matt is just one more ACE in his group of sub-contractors who meet with his exacting and high standards. I will not hesitate to call on Nick (or Matt) and his people for any and all work I need done in the future. It's not often one can find workmen who will not only do the work they contract for, but who will go far beyond to please their customers. Trust is a rare commodity in today's world and I'm pleased to state Nick stands at the top of my list of those who I trust implicitly. February 5, 2015. Huge drifts formed on my roof during the latest snow storm and were beyond what I could handle myself. A call to Nick yesterday had one of his men, Robert, at my door at 0700 this morning to take care of this problem. Not only are the drifts eliminated, Robert cleaned up the walk and patio where the snow had to end up. The quick service is just something I know I can expect from Nick who really backs up his firm's name, QUALITY. I wouldn't hesitate contacting him for any job, big or small, on my house.

Nick's team did a great job replacing the siding on our garage. They also repaired part of the soffit and facia board on the house.

Could this have been any better. NO, absolutely NO. Nick did his walk thru (or walk over on the roof) and also checked out other things I wanted done. I found that High Quality Contractors is more than their name, it's what they are. I've had roof problems for years and attempts at getting them fixed just never jelled. (I sure could have used Angie's list back then) Phone calls went unanswered and problems escalated to where the interior of our home was damaged from ice dams as well as a lousy roofing job. I received an education from Nick and his crew. I never knew so many things were involved in the care of a roof. Top it off, they installed new and bigger gutters around a trouble area of my house and corrected the inept work that had been done originally. He found things that needed correcting that I didn't even know were wrong. Before Nick did this work, I always dreaded snow or rain for fear it would leak into the house. Inow have a feeling of security and trust in what they did. To top off my enthusiastic reaction to the work completed, ;I'm looking forward to three other projects Nick has lined up that will bring me into winter (and beyond) snug and confident the weather is going to remain outside for the first time in years. Without going into tiny details, Nick did a few things beyond the call in addition to the work contracted. Only a friend would have done this, and I feel I have made a new group of friends. BTW, Nick's Dad and his Dad's twin brother were on the job, one more plus as they worked so well as a team. Each person knew their job and went about doing it professionally and with care. A well operating team. Some of the work corrected errors in the initial construction of the house. It was really pains taking detail work to design a fix that would work. From the big stuff to the nip picking stuff, this crew is the best anyone could hope for. Nick has lined up several people to take care of damage to the interior from past ice storms and leaks. He plans to follow up and be certain the work is done to both his and my satisfaction.d. High Quality Contractors is a safe call for work around your home regardless of it being inside or out. And, his crew is not a bunch of pickups. They are a 12 month unit, ready to tackle any home owner's needs.

After purchasing a "deal" from Angie's List, we contacted the company to replace a sliding door with a regular door. It was a long, slow process (both ours and the contractor's) fault to get to installation day. That day, he told me that installation did not include trim work. I told him that was an absolute necessity. To his credit, he did find and install trim, but made a huge deal out of how much extra work that was. They also chopped off the bottom of the new door without asking us if that was our preference. In total, they did a fine job, but communication certainly could have been better.

Nick called and said they would arrive at 7 am to start the job, door would be arriving between 7 and 8. The crew arrived right at 7, door arrived by 7:30. The crew functioned as a machine; each guy had his role. they were organized, efficient and worked together as a cohesive unit. They were fun, but professional. They were tidy and helpful. The job was finished more quickly than I had supposed it would take and looks wonderful! I couldn't be happier. My only concern is that they will be too busy the next time I call to have work done. Thanks to the whole team!! You did a great job!

We have used them for 6 times now. We love them. They are great. They do excellent work. They are clean and their prices are not the highest, not the lowest, they are in between. And they are all very nice especially the owner.

They did what they said they would do in the time they said for the cost they quoted. Very pleased.

Nick and his crew did a very nice job on all the projects I had them do. They arrived on time for each appointment, ordered the new doors correctly, and installed them so that they work well. We're very happy with the materials and the labor they provided. Three things were particularly impressive: 1. Once the doors had arrived from the manufacturer, the weather wasn't cooperating. Nick didn't rush the job and try to install them when it was just too cold to do it properly. Instead, he held up until the weather was better, even though he was footing the bill for the doors (he never asked me for a deposit). 2. The new locks were re keyed to match an existing key. Two of the locks worked, but not smoothly. Nick took them back to the store to get them fixed so that they now do work smoothly. It took some time to get it fixed right. And I wasn't charged for that time. 3. I had a problem with chipmunks getting in the garage through a hole in the brick and drywall. Two previous attempts at plugging that hole failed. They plugged it with mortar so it can't be opened up again. It was a tedious job - spooning mortar in, a little at a time, until the hole was filled. Most contractors wouldn't want to bother with a job like that, but these guys did. .

The installation went well. We did feel that the price was a little high for a small bathroom window, but the overall project went very smoothly.

It turned out really well and they did a great job. That was really nice. At first when I called, he was going to call back and he missed one of the callback plays but then afterwards, he was there when he said he would be.

This was our first large home improvement project, we had heard the stories of how many contractors didn't return phone calls, or would set up appointments and not show up, so this is why we joined Angie?s List. We had several contractors come over that were highly rated on Angie's List and a couple that were not from Angie's List. What a difference it makes. Nick returned my calls within a day, he followed up a couple weeks later after we had received our quote (we hadn?t made up our mind yet) he was not pushy at all, he showed up on time for the initial walk through (in order to provide us the quote), he provided the quote within the time frame we agreed on, his guys showed up 15-30 minutes early on the day of the job. Nick spent far more time with us on the initial walk through than any other contractor. Nick's price was not the lowest (but the difference wasn?t outrageous), his knowledge (for a guy as young as he is) was far superior. He went up in the attic, he moved insulation, he uncovered things and figured out what was happening. If you are going to have someone come over and quote a project like ours, make sure you have a ladder ready, access to the attic, a rake to move insulation, a flashlight etc?. I had these things ready for the other people who came over, he was the only one who took it to the extreme. Based on the other contractors quotes and discussions, they didn?t really know how our house was constructed. It is so important to use a contractor who knows how homes are built. Since we are trying to save as much money as possible, we did a lot of the destruction ourselves, during the initial walk through Nick provided us with additional things we could do ourselves which saved us another $1,000 or so. He really worked with us. It is important to note that High Quality Contracting does much larger jobs than ours, if we were going to add a second floor to our home, I would hire HQC in a heartbeat, I have a lot of confidence in them. Nick?s crew is employed by Nick (that is also important) if you hire someone who subs out all of their work you never know who will be showing up to do the work. I asked Nick during our initial walk through if he would be on the job, true to his word, he was here the entire day. One other thing, Nick gave me a walk through of their equipment trailer, everything is neatly organized and in good working order. I think that is important, and it showed in the end product. Nick had estimated the job would take a day or day and a half, his crew was polite, good with our pet, and a pleasure to work with. They finished the job in one day, cleaned up everything, and we are very pleased with the outcome. I could go on and on about all of the details on how well the job went, but the bottom line is Nick and his crew were great! I would use them again (as long as price and schedule fell into an acceptable range). I don?t mind paying a little more for quality work and professionalism as long as it isn?t outrageous. Nick - please feel free to have other prospective customers of yours give me a call if they want to know more.

Very professional. I liked that fact that the owner was a resident of the area. He returned at our request to check on some fascia that had apparently come loose during one of our worse wind storms. I would definitely recommend them anyone who asked and would definitely use their services again.

They did nice work. Showed up on time, worked the day, and did what they said they were going to do. Since that time I have had them back for additional work and would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

The provider never completed the work and I would like my money back. After several weeks I initiated the first call. The provider made an appt. then cancelled and asked me to call to reschedule due to the weather conditions. I called and left a voice mail. No returned call until I reached out again and then he promptly schedule the appt., which he called and cancelled again. Now I have not heard from him and it snowed and doing a roof inspection was too late.

I was very pleased with the process and the end result. Nick Wegner and his crew were prompt, polite, professional and efficient. There were three of them working to start out, and two more men joined in when they finished up another job nearby. I could overhear training being given to someone less experienced, which I thought was great. They cleaned up as they went along, and the entire project was done in about two hours. The stairs are sturdy and a huge improvement over what was there before! Before they left I showed Nick some missing fascia at the back of the house, and he came back the day after Thanksgiving, while I was out of town, and they took care of that for me and mailed me a bill. I'd made the mistake of not getting a quote beforehand, but I was relieved after opening the bill to see that the price was well within what I considered reasonable for the job. I'm a completely satisfied customer and won't hesitate to use High Quality Contracting again.

I contacted the provider, he promised to stop and assess the work needed and if he could perform the services. No call, no show and I have found someone who will perform the work.

I had a little problem. The first initial crew came out and the owner had to come back to fix their work. The owner did a beautiful job.

Very courteous and helpful. Will call on him again next year for inspection

I contacted him and emailed list, he said he would come out a few days later never came. Days later he left message I have returned his message three times since and he won't return calls. I have lost confidence. No work was preformed.
