It was great! Nick does a lot of big projects, and our job was a smaller one, so we had to work around other schedules from time to time, and Nick is also not big on tons of email or paperwork which was mostly fine, but there were a few minor miscommunications and moments where we wanted more information, but all was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Regarding the actual work, every contractor was very professional, and Nick checked on and followed up with all of them. The work was all done very well, and several months later we have no issues or concerns. Everything looks so great! We had a water issue in our basement and no longer have to worry about that. The new bathroom is our favorite part. It feels spacious because of the layout and design choices Nick made, but actually it's a really small footprint which is perfect!

We hired High Quality Contracting to come reinforce a Boeing floor underneath our too-heavy dining table. Nick was quick to respond, and his crew got to work the following week. They were prompt, quick, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely be using HQC in the future for contracting work.

Nick and his crew did an excellent job of removing my wall and installing a 30ft load-bearing beam. Fast, reliable and friendly.

My wife and I sat down with Nick and designed the floor plan for my house! He had many great ideas and was will to incorporate all my ideas into the build.

Couldn't have found a better contractor than Nick, Jeremy and their crew. This was the first two phases of our garage rehab and Nick was willing to work with our budget. Phase three will be siding and windows on last three sides and the other half of the roof. First class craftsmanship, always prompt and always communicating (text, email or in-person) made for a worry free experience for us.

Nick was responsive to our initial call and talked through the project thoroughly. He dropped off samples and made sure we were happy with the plan. The project involved repairing a poorly installed flat roof which was leaking and also installing a deck over the roof. There were custom touches we requested that they did not mind handling. They were done on-time at the price quoted. Nick was responsive to all calls. The result turned out beautifully and we are very satisfied. We plan to have him do more work in the future.

We hired High Quality Contracting for a flooring job at our home. Wow, were we glad we did! He was knowledgeable, responsive and extremely resourceful in solving a pretty complex situation and providing a great solution. We ended up hiring Nick for a few other things we needed done as we were preparing to sell our house and he was great every time and a tremendous resource. He was extremely flexible accommodating our schedule and coming over late to get the work done. We would highly recommend Nick and his team for your next job. We know we will continue using him for any and all future work that we need done.

The crew was very efficient and neat. Communication with the contractor was great and timely.

The workmanship was superior. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were with Nick (the owner) and his crew Andy, Kevin and Michael. Not only were they on time (they arrived early), but the clean up after was superb. It was a huge job and they gave more than 100%. Work was performed over two visits, as I was flexible to fit into small openings in their schedule. On both visits, Nick Wegner, owner, was present to tell his crew what was required and have them start on the project. Nick initially went into our attic and installed 8 lag type bolts into the perpendicular ceiling joists. The drywall replacement was excellent. My wife and I could not tell where the new drywall started, matching perfectly to the existing drywall. The bathroom fan hood onto the roof and subsequent replacement and hook-up of the fan insulated pipe went well per Nick, but I did not climb on the roof to inspect. Nick did point out that I have some nails popping up out of the shingles and suggested they be pounded back in and then caulked over. I did not rate price as I had no other comparison, but $1,165 seems reasonable and fair.

There are not enough good words to say about Nick, High Quality Contracting's owner. His professionalism, open communication, courteousness, and knowledge far exceeded my expectations. Nick completed my huge home project in a very timely manner and hired only the highest quality professionals — building architect, electrician, HVAC professional, plumber, etc. Nick kept me updated during the construction/remodel regarding the workers coming into my home and set the expectations; he was always conscience of the cost and helped save money by giving excellent alternatives with every purchase. Nick is very easy to work and his vast knowledge allowed him to provide excellent and trustworthy recommendations. My home is absolutely beautiful, I am thrilled with the results! Nick and his team were very professional. When we originally wanted to start getting bids, we weren’t sure from a design standpoint what would fit in our budget. While other contractors wanted black and white design for pricing, Nick helped us complete our vision with recommendations and design options to fit our budget. He really looked at things differently and we could tell immediately that he loves his job. His vision gave us a new perspective on our basement options, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. He worked with us along the way, informing us regularly about what was happening and when, and he answered any questions that came up. He was flexible when things changed, and was always transparent with cost and up front with his professional recommendations. The work was done in an efficient, timely manner, and everyone was respectful of our family’s schedules and space. We are thrilled with our choice to hire High Quality Contracting, and we love our brand new basement space!

Never showed up. Received quote in August. Contacted Nick to schedule, he confirmed October of November. Checked in again a month later and was assured he we on the schedule. Checked again, same response. Never heard from again!!

The process was a bit stressful, but Nick followed through with what he said he would do. His team is punctual, courteous and cleaned up after themselves everyday.

The outcome was great! Cabinet is hanging level, and he adjusted the cabinet doors to hang aligned.

Nick and his crew are amazing. The attention to detail is spectacular. Nick addresses all of your questions and stays in contact with you throughout the entire process. His crew is very friendly and personable. They clean up everyday after their work is done. I have known Nick for well over 10 years. He has taken care of family and friends and I would and have recommended Nick for any job.

I called and wanted to set up a time for a quote, at which time Nick informed me it would be late October before they could come out and give an estimate. He also they would not get back to me till November and the job would not be able to be started till sometime in January. I appreicate his honesty.

He did a great job! First of all he was very responsive. I received a call back right away, he came out the next day to look at what needed to be done, then came out the next day to do the work. He was a lifesaver as we were in the middle of a patio renovation and the renovation couldn't be completed until the rotting wood was taken care of. Thank you NIck!

He is kind of hard to get a hold of. I think they did pretty much everything well except for when I tried to get a hold of them, it would take a while to get back to you. From what I can recall they cleaned up well.

If you want the guy who shows up in a dress shirt with his briefcase to sell you his wares, this is not the company for you. If you want the guy who gets dirty working with his guys, tells it like it is, and gives you a fair price, call them! Their happy customers keep them busy with referrals so don't expect your job to be done tomorrow! We even experienced some problems (manufacturer, not installation), but they were handled in a timely manner with no hassle! Now we are getting ready to have more work done by HQC; we are very pleased!

It went great , Nick the owner and his crew came early in the morning , told me approximately how long it would take . The repair on the roof and the new roof on the garage was perfect. I was amazed how everything looked so nice and neat.

Roofing done quickly once work started..we had agreed to wait for installation so jobs for others could be done first..we were kept informed along the way.

The owner Nick Wegner responded with a phone call and followup inspection within a week of my inquiry and sent out a fast quote. The job was started within a few days after my acceptance, earlier than originally agreed upon due to rain in the forecast, and was finished in one day. I was grateful for the fast response because of the emergency nature of the job. Nick went the extra mile and had his crew repair two other bad spots found on the roof that were not included in the quote at no extra charge. The work was done professionally, as quoted, and cleanup was thorough. Would definitely recommend High Quality Contracting for any work that they provide. It was a very pleasant experience.

Overall my experience was great. Nick was open with me from the beginning that he was very busy, but if needed, he could help me out with this project. Despite his busy schedule he was able to get our work done in a timely matter. His team was very professional and friendly. As a first time home buyer, he was very easy to work with and explained things to me in a way I could understand.
