+ -1 moreWhen Al arrived he stated he knows nothing about radiant heat; that I would need to find someone else. Said he'd check with his supplier to find another blower. Called back to say they do not have one like mine and he was not going to look on the internet. Couple days later, I get a bill for $84.08.
Description of Work: Heating (hot water type); noisy blower.

+ -1 moreAl and Steve came to my home to give me an estimate on replacing my furnace. We spoke for about 1/2 hour about the options and concerns that I had. I've used Gerth for the past 25 years, replaced my furnace and installed central air conditioning. I've had minor problems over the years and Gerth has always been very responsive and provided excellent customer service. Now I'm just waiting for my tax return to get my furnace replaced!

My call pulled him off the lake from Ice Fishing and I feel just terrible about it. He showed up ready to work and was in and out in an hour. We have heat, and we're happy! Description of Work: Gerth Heating Svc Corp serviced both our furnace and our central air conditioner. We have never had any issues with either system and had also never had them serviced. I checked various contractors in the area with a desire to use someone in or near Muskego, WI. We got quotes from several contractors which all seemed in the same price range. I was delighted to hear the Gerth was considerable less, since they are a small company. That did mean we had to wait longer for the service since it was peak time for them servicing air conditioners (late spring/early summer). That wasn't an issue for since there wasn't anything wrong with either system. Gerth called us when they were available and showed up as promised. They serviced everything as expected plus found a few small leaks which they repaired. We are happy with the service and equally happy giving a small local contractor our business.
