+ -1 moreOur dryer wasn't working, so we called Pat Driscoll to fix it. He arrived at the scheduled time. Quickly got to the source of the problem. One of 2 fuses was bad, so the light had able to go on, but not the drying. I then questioned him about 2 other older appliances. One he said put the money to a new Stove and he explained how to fix the problem with the Freezer drain. Now I know how to do this. Pat has always been helpful this way. He has been my go to appliance guy for around 20 years.
Description of Work: Clothes Dryer wasn't working. He made it go.

+ -1 moreGood except I felt I was overcharged. 10 minutes of labor resulted in being charged for a half hour of labor and also a $75.00 dollar service charge.
Description of Work: Brought in two parts. Replaced bracket and light bulb.

+ -1 moreALL WENT WELL AND MY MICROWAVE TURNTABLE IS NOW TURNING AWAY AS I COOK MY FOOD. A VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY MAN. HE EVEN APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY BECAUSE OF THE BACK-ORDER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT. WOULD CALL HIM AGAIN FOR OTHER APPLIANCE REPAIRS.
Description of Work: MY BUILT-IN MICROWAVE'S TURNTABLE WAS NOT WORKING/TURNING. AFTER CALLING A COUPLE OF APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANIES ON ANGIE'S LIST, AND LEARNING THAT THEY DO NOT WORK ON MICROWAVE OVENS, I CALLED DRISCOLL'S BECAUSE HE WAS LISTED IN MY LOCAL (MUSKEGO) DIRECTORY. HE CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND SAID THAT IT WAS THE MOTOR FOR THE TURNTABLE AND WOULD HAVE TO ORDER ONE. WHEN THE MOTOR TURNED OUT TO BE ON BACK-ORDER, PAT CALLED ME TO INFORM ME THAT THERE WOULD BE A DELAY OF ABOUT 10 MORE DAYS BEFORE HE COULD RETURN. WHEN THE MOTOR ARRIVED HE CALLED TO SET UP A TIME TO INSTALL.
