As a local Realtor, I've worked with many inspectors. But since working with Jeffrey, he is now my #1 go-to Inspector on my speed dial! While working with Jeffrey, I've been blown away by his attention to detail, how knowledgable he is & how he's able to explain even complex issues in layman's terms - for anyone to understand! His inspection report is the most organized home-owners guide, that I'm confident you will reference the whole time you live in your home! With the level of service you receive... you'll be shocked with how affordable his rates are! There are inspectors out there charging a lot more, and you get a lot less than what Jeffrey will do for you! Hire Jeffrey... you won't be disappointed!

Jeff did a very thorough job! He was so knowledgeable, and gave us pointers on ways to fix things. He identified items as either critical, or maintenance items / not critical, and he also identified things that he checked that were fine. The report ended up being about 80 pages, with great pictures, so it was easy to see what the problem was, or if no problem existed, to document that the item was looked at with no issues. (Where former problems existed, he commented on that too - for example, there was evidence of water seepage, but the roof had been repaired since. So Jeff measured the moisture (or lack of) with a meter, and documented that there seemed to be no current problem.) After we fixed things per his recommendation, Jeff even updated the report to eliminate those items in the report!

Fantastic! Jeffrey was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable about every part of the home we were looking to buy. Not only was he great to communicate with to get our appointments set up, he provided us with a 100+ page report detailing everything he looked at and the results he found. We would absolutely recommend hiring Jeffrey to do your home inspection and/or radon test!

Really well. Jeffrey had made arrangements with our RE agent and arrived at the house a few hours ahead of us to inspect the house. When my RE agent and I arrived, he was finishing up. The Radon test kit had been picked up earlier. The stove and dishwasher were completing their cycles; the electric stovetop was still glowing and the dishwasher was on its dry cycle; the refrigerator was cold and the freezer frozen. Then we started the tour. Outside, he pointed out garden hose spigots, dryer vent, furnace intake and exhaust, the roof, siding and flashing along the foundation, landscaping, drainage, doors and windows and discussed their states and conditions. He had even been up on the roof - I have his pictures. We went inside and through each room, every outlet, switch and ceiling fixture, smoke and CO detector. I got a good view of the attic too. In the basement, he pointed out the egress access. We talked about cracks and headed to the furnace, the hot water heater and the circuit breaker box. I had no idea what to expect and was really taken by the thoroughness and openness of the tour and the information. I recommend him without reservation and would hire him again should we need such a service.

Excellent! As a first time home buyer, we had no idea what to expect. Jeff walked us through every detail and took his time to ensure we knew everything we needed to know. He left no stone unturned to make sure there were no surprises for us. His report was delivered immediately the next morning and was very easy to read and understand. GREAT! Jeffrey Knurr is very particular, informative, and most importantly descriptive on any and all issues the house has. He is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience to back that up. I would recommend friends and family to use him in the future. I spoke with a few other people who recently bought homes and it was more expensive. On top of that, he couldn't have been any nicer. He will give his honest opinion and make sure you know EVERYTHING about your home.

Mr. Knurr was fantastic. He took time to walk through each area of the home to give me detailed information (that I was able to understand) and also provided a report for me to reference for things that I will need to maintain in the future. He also put up with my father tagging along and telling bad "dad jokes".

Jeffrey responded almost immediately to my Angie's List inquiry. He rearranged his schedule to fit us in on very short notice and was available, flexible and communicative surrounding the holiday weekend with our and the sellers' changing schedules. He is very friendly, attentive, experienced, thorough and adept. He listens very well and explains in layman's terms - or whatever terms suit his client. The cost noted includes two furnaces and two air conditioners with the Radon test.
