driveway pavers
 + -1 moreThey had a dump truck get stuck up to its frame. Had a front loader to pull the dump truck out. They tried to have us pay for the chain that broke from moving the truck. They started the first week in July and still haven't put the blacktop on the driveway. My husband had to put some cement down to help with my mobility in and out the door. Their dump truck also hit our foundation & tore loose the big cornerstone. They said it was already loose but it wasn't. They knocked it right out. They did not offer to fix it, so my husband had to. It took him 2 days to repair it.
Description of Work: They ripped up the old blacktop and cement that's next to back door. They dug 18 inches and said they were going to dig 24 inches. They filled in the driveway with dirt and gravel and packed it down. They still didn't roll out the asphalt and still need to fill it.

driveway pavers
 + -1 moreWritten contract stated two and 1/2 inch asphalt to be laid. Crew removed gravel to place asphalt and I measured several areas which were less than 2 inches. Contractor allegedly corrected problem. Driveway is not level. Puddles appear when it rains. I pointed out an area where asphalt driveway was higher where it laid next to the sidewalk and I was told that his men did the best they could and the asphalt would settle. It did NOT settle.
Description of Work: Laid Asphalt (blacktop) driveway.
