Description of Work: Dwight Zweifel and his son Nick Zweifel are both journeyman electricians, Dwight obviously with more experience, but both are terrific. We've had work done by one or the other of these awesome guys for the last 3 years and recommend them both without condition or reservation.

Description of Work: Contacted company on recommendation of a colleague. Owner returned call promptly but basically advised that work I had would be too costly (involving 2 people) and the subtext to me, not worth his time. I found another electrician who did the installation of a rail system alone and at a reasonable rate.

Description of Work: We have had Dwight Zweifel do two small jobs for us. The first time we called him it was a Sunday, we had an emergency at a property we own. He dropped everything, for a customer he'd never met, and was at our place in an hour. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I think our bill for an hour of Sunday work, plus parts was $200. We were pleased. We also had Dwight to our house to do some new wiring and repair work. He was very thorough, did exactly what we asked (wire a new thermostat, put two new outlets in our basement), and explained everything to me. I was very pleased and I will definitely call Dwight again.

Description of Work: We used Zweifel Electric to install grounded outlets throughout our new home and they also installed a new outlet in one of our bathrooms. Dwight was great to work with. He was responsive to our phone calls, arrived on time and even gave us advice about the color of wall plates we should use. He even dropped off samples a few days before so that we could choose the ones we would use. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreWe were getting our home updated for a sale. The fan in the kitchen was replaced by recessed lights, lights upstairs and outside were replaced. We started with the light box which was updated to the standard. Dwight helped discuss costs, he stayed on the budget. I changed somethings around but with some things dropped and some added it ended up being the quoted price within $30 - actually under. I wanted a motion light outside, Dwight was very helpful getting exactly the best place (which I didn't see) and it works ideally. I wanted to wait a while before I wrote this, to see if the work completed 6 months ago had problems. Everything was very well done.
Description of Work: Updated electrical box, changed lights in kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, added motion lights outside. In all instances, reliable, pleasant to work with and quick. It is in your benefit to know exactly what you want before you start - and make decisions and stick with them. Changing things around costs money, of course. This father and son team was excellent and helpful.

Dwight always returned calls promptly, showed up right on time, finished work well within the projected amount of time, and did a quality job and left the place clean. Also, on one of the coldest days last winter, my furnace went out because one of the circuits in the circuit box had corroded (something like that). I called Dwight on his cell phone at 9pm, and he immediately got in his truck and drove 30+ minutes to my house, replaced the corroded part, and didn't even charge me (for the part OR the after hours trip out) because he said he should have noticed the corrosion and replaced the piece when he did the electrical upgrade. I was really impressed with his service and his integrity. Also, his son is apprenticing with him, seems like a nice kid. On a recent service call (to wire garbage disposal and add a circuit), I was charged $25/hour for his son. This was not a problem because the son definitely did work, I just wasn't informed in advance.
Description of Work: Full electrical upgrade, remove old knob and tube wiring, add outlets, re-wire so outlets and lights are on appropriate circuits, add new circuits, wire garbage disposal.
