+ -1 moreThey were referred to me by another company. They came after hours when my husband and I would both be home. He inspected the entire house and told us realistically our rights as a home owner. He also gave us recommendations on what to do if we were going to sell the house soon. Since I was going to do it myself he referred me to his competitor to purchase the sealant. He also told me how to make my own sealant out of caulk and water. For him it was about helping us, not just making money and we had just met him. He told me exactly what I needed to do, how I needed to do, where to go to purchase the sealant, and he told me how many coats I needed to use.
Description of Work: Northstar Environmental Testing did an asbestos inspection.

Very pleased with the entire experience. Came out and did a very extensive job of reviewing the cleaning companies work. Checked lumber moisture levels, looked for visible mold and ran three air test samples (basement, main floor and outside for control). Had results in a couple of days. Very responsive and always returned my calls.
Description of Work: Checked the mold spore count in a house that we are renovating.

Description of Work: Gave an inspection, professional opinions and advice. Was realistic and down to earth about handling the asbestosis, referred me to his competitor to obtain the encapsulant and explained to me how to do the procedure. He did not push for his company to encapsulate the asbestosis or remove it. Very nice to work with and would definitely recommend/use again.
