The overall project went well. They met their commitment to install the new countertops before Thanksgiving.

The company appeared reputable and the owner and assistant quite professional during initial interactions. In fact, what impressed me about them over other area granite suppliers I had checked out is that they were very transparent in their pricing/estimates. All install costs were accounted for. When it came to the actual installation, however, it was another story. Measurements are off between the backsplash and counter on three of four edges where they should meet up and the front edge of the main slab appears bowed. I have a very small galley kitchen - all straight lines and no fancy corners - so one would think accuracy in measurements would be easy to achieve, but that was not the case. The worst part, though, was that the granite cracked immediately right in front of the sink. The crack goes clear through front to back and top to bottom. George, the owner, was very responsive and tried to fill and buff it out. He even gave 10% off, but the crack is still obvious. Unfortunately money back doesn't truly make things better. Over time, a matching crack has developed on the opposite side of the sink. It does not appear that the installers shimmed in enough support to handle the weight of the slab and the thinner parts are suffering. Overall, nice people, but poor craftsmanship.

I wasn't happy with the way one corner fit together but George completely redid it. Now, it looks great and love it! I thought they were reasonably priced (cheaper than others I looked at). I would definitely recommend them.
