They were very quick to put the carpet in and very professional. The installer was sick on the original day but I was called right away and other arrangements made. The carpet looks and feels great. They did not vacuum the carpet after installation so there were little pieces of carpet everywhere but these were easily cleaned up. I would recommend carpet from them to anyone. Great experience!
Description of Work: Carpet in master bedroom and two bedrooms downstairs was replaced.

The vinyl was scheduled to be installed on Monday and installation of kitchen cabinets, wood flooring by another contractor, electrical and plumbing were all contingent upon Carpet MIll getting the vinyl installed. On Thursday prior to the Monday of scheduled installation my wife called Carpet Mill and was told we were scheduled for Tuesday, not Monday, but the big snowstorm had pushed it back one week because another job was ahead of us and they were waiting to get their driveway plowed out. I then called Carpet Mill and told them that because they were waiting for someone else to get their driveway plowed we should not be pushed back. I got no where with them. My wife then stopped later that day and spoke with them directly but they still said they could not install until Friday. She asked if they had the product in the store and they said no. They also told us our main contractor was aware of the rescheduling. I called the contractor and he knew nothing of it. The contractor then called Carpet Mill and they agreed to install it on Monday as was originally agreed to. The two man crew that showed up was completely unprofessional and screwed up the installation. Our contractor then called and a representative from Carpet Mill came to the house and admitted that the installers did not install the vinyl correctly. My contractor then had to peel back the freshly glued vinyl, re-cut the subfloor, and Carpet Mill had to come back and re-glue the edge of the vinyl. It cost us two hours of my contractors labor to fix the vinyl screw-up and the peeled back area is now visible in the finished product. It turns out the snowstorm was an excuse to delay installation because they did not have the vinyl available on time as originally promised. We then had carpeting scheduled to be installed the following Wednesday. On Tuesday my wife called and they said it was scheduled for Thursday. The carpet installer showed up on Thursday, was a professional and did a very good job. He then asked for the final payment which I thought we would at least have a few days to make. I told him I wanted to talk to the supervisor and would go into the store in person and pay it then. The next day Carpet Mill called asking for their money. Despite having delayed the scheduling of both the vinyl and the carpeting and not having the decency to call and inform us, they called immediately when they wanted their final payment. I ended up mailing a check as I did not want to upset myself by going in there. We will not do business with them again.
