Everything went well. Installation was completed on time. A couple of new windows had to be replaced because of some imperfections in the glass. this was done promptly and without question. Zen windows does quality work and the owner, Brad, is very professional. It is hard to find quality companies like this now days. This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I highly recommend them. I love my new windows.

My house is pretty old, and has about 30 windows. The old windows don't have good insulation and cost me a lot of money for energy bills. We contacted Zen windows for a quote, they came and did the measurement fast and professionally. Waiting for a few weeks for customized windows and they finish the installation in one day. The windows look good and we do feel the insulation is better now. We may replace some other windows in the coming years, and I will call Zen windows again.

Found Zen Windows on Angie's List - was very competitive on price for service - removed old door and replace with energy efficient and stylish replacement. We noticed a remarkable improvement in insulation with this door over the past winter. Room was much warmer and no draft. Brad Blavat, owner of Zen Windows was very professional and courteous. His installation staff were also very professional. All work was done in accordance with expectations and per estimated cost for service. The original security lock did not fit and they needed to order a replacement - I was not charged for any service until it was installed. I would use Zen Windows again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Brad's crew, Tim and Dan, showed up at my home exactly when promised. Tim then went over everything that he and Dan were going to do to remove the existing 26 year old sliding patio door and what they were going to do to install the new one. Being somewhat if a handyman myself, I was curious and asked if they minded if I watched them work. Now I know my limitations and installing this door was something beyond my skills. I was truly amazed as the guys explained what they were doing and how it would all come together. Each step of the process was carried out with great finesse. They didn't have to force anything or do a hack job. It all flowed together and when they finished, only three hours had passed. They covered our deck and kitchen floors and cleaned-up as they went along. They respected our home and left the area as they had found it. Truly this experience is about the best that we have ever had with a home remodeling project. You could do no better than to choose to work with Brad, Tim and Dan from Zen Windows. True professionals!

I am very pleased with every step of the process of replacing the 21 double-hung windows in my 1923 home. I was expecting some major repair on the interior woodwork, but have only had to do some minor touch-up on the interior moldings. I was amazed. The process was painless from beginning to end. The installation crew, led by Tim, was very skilled and professional, and nice guys. Based on my experience with Zen Windows Milwaukee, I can't think of anything I would do differently. Zen Milwaukee has my highest recommendation.

My experience with Zen Windows was excellent. Our newly bought home had all original wood windows in not very good condition. As new home owners, my husband and I do not have much experience on dealing with contractors. I always check on Angie's List for reference. I had read a lot of comments from other reviewers saying high sale pressure from window companies. I was a bit hesitate to contact them until I found Zen Windows. Zen Windows newly joined AL with relatively less reviews compare to other window companies. But most of the reviews are positive and I especially like their business philosophy-easy, simple, no pressure. At same time, Zen Windows offers good deals, this was a plus! I first sent emails to the owner Brad and inquired about the window's maker, specification, installation procedure etc. I got emails back quickly with thorough explanations. I told Brad I had to contact him later and probably was only able to replace one window at this time since we have limited budget and there were other projects going on in our house. He assured me that whenever I was ready, they are always there. Friendly, no pressure as always! About one or two months later, when it was getting cold, I have decided to replace all nine windows on the second floor. I contacted Brad again and he informed me that Tim would contact me directly for measurement. There was a bit waiting time for the scheduling. When I asked Brad the situation, he apologized and told me it was in a busy season and he would follow up with it. Then, a day or two later, someone came to my house and did the measurement. Afterwards, everything went smoothly. I ordered my windows and scheduled for installation. I told Brad, I had friends visits in the middle of Nov. I would prefer to have new windows installed before they came. But due to the busy season, my initial installation date was scheduled on end of Nov., a little longer than usual, which I totally understood. Surprisingly, on Nov. 8, the Saturday evening, I got call from Brad saying there was a cancellation on the following Monday, so I could have my windows installed on Nov. 10! That was a great news and Brad did keep in mind of my request which I really appreciated! On the installation date, Tim and his helper, Michael came very early in the morning. They were well-equipped and handled the windows professionally. They did a great job on replacing windows, sealing, caulking and exterior capping. Our house was well protected and no debris left behind. During the installing process, Brad stopped by to make sure everything went smoothly. Near the end of work, Tim even went extra mile by making me a very cute holder from the waste for my window herb plants! (Thank you again, Tim! I really like it!). The end result is satisfactory. The new windows look beautiful. Even my neighbors came to compliment. I can't comment the durability at this moment, since we only have them a few weeks and we chose the very basic model. But we knew we can be ease for years since the windows are from reputable makers and backed up with lifetime warranty. We would definitely use Zen Windows again when we decide to replace more windows. Thank you Brad, thank you Tim and Michael for this wonderful experience.

Working with Brad and his team was great. They were very responsive and did a great job replacing my patio door. I needed to do this project on a tight budget which is what the Angies list "big deal" offered me. I suggest that when purchasing a door from any provider you find a way to view the door before purchasing to ensure satisfaction with the product.

It went very smoothly. They came to the house and took the necessary measurements. Soon afterward I got a phone call telling me that they would email me some pictures of different doors. I selected the style I liked and contacted them. When the door came in, they came out to install both the window and the door in a few hours. They did a great job. The price was, I think, reasonable. I am expecting to save money on heating this winter since the replacements are far better than what I had there previously.

Everything went smoothly and professionally. There was a problem with the screen but Zen repaired that quickly and repaired it well. We have had the new door and screen for about 9 months and it has operated flawlessly. Would recommend Zen to anyone.

Our Zen Window experience was an absolutely seamless, positive experience from start to finish. Because of our home's age, window sizes vary and in general are non standard. In advance of our first meeting, the owner, Brad provided us with on-line links to photos, reviews, detailed specifications and ratings information then he arrived with full size samples so that we could easily compare all the available options. And the flat per window rate made it easy to calculate and compare relative costs. We received the written bid within hours of our meeting. Once we agreed, the installer, Tim, came to measure and the windows were custom made in Ohio. Approximately 3 weeks later. the windows were in and Tim and Justin scheduled the installation. Total time to install was 3 days and we were amazed at how quickly, efficiently, quietly, and neatly they completed the work. If you are considering new windows, we definitely recommend you call Brad.

Brad from Zen Windows was great to work with and we were able to pick out and make all of the necessary customization we wanted. The week before our installation Brad called us to let us know that during his inspection of the door when he received it from the supplier he found scratches and returned the door. We were happy to hear Brad looked at the door before installing it, and we did not mind the small delay in the installation because we felt the door we were getting would be flawless. Installation went by quickly and they were very knowledgeable. They came in at 8 AM, removed the window and the old window frame, built the frame and supports for the door, and had the door installed by 2 PM. We strongly recommend the team at Zen Windows.

Overall, dealing with Zen windows was a pleasure. I received my quote within 5 minutes and was given as much time as I needed to mull it over. No sales tactics. No pressure. I asked Brad to bring over sample windows and he did so the same day. After reviewing the options and discussing it with my wife, we decided on the Nirvana triple pane argon filled windows No money down, no deposit, payment only if satisfied with the end product. The manufacturing process too a bit longer than promised, but being summer. we were in no rush. We were scheduled for installation on a Monday at 7:30 and the installation team showed up on time. They took three days and did a fantastic job. Rotten wood was replaced and the windows were wrapped in aluminum. The final product truly adds the to look of our house. The crew cleaned up, removed all the old windows and rotten wood and after they left you could not tell that they had been there. I would highly recommend their services. Update 11/15/15- Two sashes from the windows I had installed developed spots (defects) and were unsightly. I called Brad and he had me get the code numbers off the sashes. New sashes were ordered and delivered and installed within two weeks, no questions asked. Great service after the sale.

I actually had not heard about Zen Windows but came upon them through the "big deal" they had with Angie's List. My husband and I own two rental properties and wanted to update a few of the windows (9 total) this year. In years past with our own home, when dealing with other providers, we dealt the high pressure sales tactic, sales men refusing to leave our home, verbally insulting us because we wouldn't sign a contract that night. This was the absolute complete opposite experience, truly a "zen" moment. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop but it never happened. What a GREAT experience! This company is doing things the right way. When I called them about the big deal and next steps, they answered immediately and asked a few questions about the windows, the sizes, color etc. and said they would send me a quote electronically. Not even 5 minutes later I had a quote waiting for me in my email. All I had to do was respond to the quote and they said a installer would be contacting me to come and measure the windows. No Deposit was required! Once I said yes, that very same day the installer called to set up a time to come measure the windows. Two weeks later, right on time, both Brad (the owner) and the installer contacted me to say the windows were ready and to find a time to install them. Installation went great, paid them with a check for the full amount that day. We will definitely be using them again when updating our remaining windows. GREAT JOB BRAD!

It was just terrific and super good. We are also going to use them for work on our chimney and for doors in the future. The worker was great. They got the job done in one hour. The scheduling was wonderful.

Efficient and professional do not even begin to describe how well he performs the door removal and installation process. The whole job was finished in about 2 hours, and he apologized for it taking longer than what he anticipated. I had no preconceived notion about how long it should take so the apology, while unnecessary to my thinking, was truly appreciated and thoughtful. Tim had all the necessary tools and equipment in his trailer and cleaned up every bit of scrap that was created. He laid down pads on the kitchen floor to avoid damaging the vinyl. What more could a homeowner ask for? I can recommend this company wholeheartedly based on the experience I had with them. The cost was half of what I would have paid normally and the care they put into customer satisfaction is what constitutes a good business operation. This was great!! The process took longer than I wanted it to, but it was worth the wait. (Ordering and Waiting) The window matches almost perfectly with the others in my home and it will be so easy to clean. Tim was the installer and was fabulous. He was on time, friendly and absolutely knew what he was doing. Because of the positive experience and the installer, Tim, I am looking into the possibility of purchasing additional replacement windows.

I'm really happy with the customer service and quality of windows that Zen Windows provided. I never felt pressured to make a decision and Brad, the owner, gave me all the info necessary to help me decide what kind of windows would fit my needs. The installers were polite, professional and did a great job cleaning up after the windows were put in.
