we dropped it off, they repaired it and we picked it up exactly in the time they estimated and the price they quoted - great, professional work and smooth process

When I called, Bruce was extremely nice and said he'd be there until 5:00pm. I arrived at 4:30pm, and although I offered to come back the following day to pick it up, he was happy to fix it while I waited. He even told me to come back to his work room to watch if I wanted! Very nice guy.

He was very professional and completed job on time.

I visited Zastrow upholstery with the seating frames for my outdoor wicker furniture. The webbing was shot and needed replacing. Mr. Zastrow felt the cost he would have to charge me for labor and materials would not be reasonable. He referred me to a competitor thinking he might be able to help me. He was right on! His competitor is able to do the job with materials and equipment unavailable to Zastrow's. Because of his honesty and integrity, I will definitely keep Mr. Zastrow in mind for future upholstery and furniture repair projects!

There was a couch, oversize chair, two smaller chair, and a recliner. They also repaired the couch before covering.

I called mr. Zastrow several time prior to asking him to give us an estimate. We called on a Monday and he told us he would get back to us with an appointment time to meet by that Friday of That week. He never called us back, delaying us with getting other estimates. Not very professional!!

They both got done in a timely fashion but the quality of work was overpriced.

I brought 1 chair and 3 pads from our dining room chairs for upholstering to the store. They provided options of choosing new fabrics or to choose from available remnants which would remove shipping costs for new material. The owner provided me with samples to take home to match my home furnishing. I found a remnant fabric I liked and I appreciated the option of saving some money. The foam material seem substantial and the pattern was well positioned on the seat. They were professional in their interactions and their pricing is fair. I would recommend them to others.

Bruce made some suggestions and let me look at all the material books! I found a material I liked, he requested a small deposit to order it and I told him I would drop off the 6 chairs seats in in 2 days. He said he would be in my area the next day and offered to pick them up! Really nice! He also told me it would take about 2 weeks. He phoned me a week later and said the seats were done! When I went in to pick up the seats and pay the balance, he told me that if I had any trouble attaching them back onto the chair frames that he would send his son (who also works in the shop) to take care of it for me! I'm telling you, he's the best. Always has been, always will be.

His workmanship is great and prices were reasonable. He's very easy and accommodating to work with. I'd highly recommend his services.

It went great. He was very communicative throughout the process, was a really fun and easygoing guy to work with and is incredibly talented at what he does. The fabric selection was fabulous. I drove down to Zastrow's based on the Angie's List rating. Thank goodness I did that rather than having them pick up my chair first. The store wreaked of cigarette smoke. When a gentlemen came up to the front part of the store, I asked if the workers in the back were smoking and the answer was yes. I questioned how I could get my chair covered without it smelling like cigarette smoke. His answer was there was never a problem in the past. As an adamant nonsmoker, I don't see how this is possible.

Wonderful service. Finished in a week. Lots of fabric to choose from. Chairs are much more comfortable now and also nicer to look at.

The work was excellent and completed before the promise date. Great selection of fabric.

Bruce Zastrow really came to my rescue by recovering our sofa that had been reuphostered very badly. My wife and I went from tears to smiles after seeing Zastrow's expertly detailed work. He added stuffing to the piece, tightened the cover (it was very poorly fitted), added cover fabric, retied springs, and cleaned up wood trim beautifully. Don't believe BBB reports on Zastrow's attitude or pieces returned to you smelling smokey. Our experience was completely professional and satisfying. Turn around time was weeks before we expected to get our sofa back. This is a family owned business that aims to satisfy it's customers: and we are. . . completely!

Zastrow Upholstery was able to complete the work in four days. He did good work. I was very please. He was able to accommodate my needs for a quick turn around.

We needed to replace some cushions for a long settee bench in our family room. The dimensions were very unique-2 cushions14.75"w x 5', 5"L. We knew the general "neighborhood" of color range and pattern size we wanted and Bruce worked with us to zone in on a few select swatches of fabric to take home and decide on. He met his estimated price and 4 weeks completion date and we were very satisfied with his advice and the quality of the end product. They fit the space perfectly. A very professional job with no hassles.

Excellent workmanship and service. I was initially told that it would take 2 days, but the work was actually down while I waited.

I called Bruce. He was friendly and could obviously not give an estimate over the phone without seeing the fabric, but said the request sounded like something they could do. I brought the slipcover in 2 days later. He gave me an estimate of $5.00 to repair it and said it would be ready in a few hours. He called 4 hours later to say it was ready. The charge was in fact $5 and I can't even tell where the original tear was. They did a great job.

Did a custom cup foam filler to repair the cushion. Completed the repair less then 24 hours. Dropped it off yesterday and called me today to tell me that it is finished.

Excellent work from estimate to completion. Accurate estimate and great workmanship. This may sound like a lot of money for a chair, but after getting other estimates this is right in th ball park for the size and scope of the project. Chair picked up and delivered on time as promised. Very satisfied with his work.

I've used this company many times before and really trust them. I had an old big pillow covered with carpet I hadn't used in years. I found some black corduroy I had bought years ago for something else. I took the pillow and the material to Bruce and asked him to cover the pillow and put in a zipper. It was done in a few days and I love it. I only gave them a B for Professionalism because they don't accept credit cards, which would be helpful.

Work was of high quality and completed within the estimated time frame for the estimated amount. Owner was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, a very positive experience. I was somewhat shocked at the price for this type of work, but after getting several estimates, decided that it is simply to expensive to have upholstery work done. It is often cheaper to throw old stuff away and buy new.

I found them to be helpful. They had an overwhelming supply of fabric. Every price rage of fabric you can imagine. They came and picked up the furniture which was convenient for me. They returned it too.
