Description of Work: Price on a whole house window replacement was fair, windows were built and installed in 3 weeks from time of order.Now the honeymoon is over !!10 of the window latches were scuffed badly need to be replaced5 window sills slope in towards the house collecting water and dirtOne second story windows in not caulked on the top and rain is leaking into my living room.Have been trying to get all this fixed since June of 2011. All I get is a run around that the parts are onorder. It's been over ONE YEAR already. Stay away from Wellington ..... once thet get your money they are gone !!!

Description of Work: when we contacted them and they came to our home, we explained that the seven windows we wanted replaced was getting a lot of bugs coming in through the windows!! that was one of the reasons we needed new windows. after they were replaced, we were STILL GETTING HUNDREDS OF BUGS coming through our windows and currently to date!! we had caulked every possible seam on the windows, trim, outside and inside. they came over eventually to see the windows and said they couldn't do anything. when we called the Wellington Co. in Minnesota, they said they use caulks or spray foam inside the trims, etc. when we called here, they said there installation policy doesn't require that. when we see windows being installed on "home shows" on TV, they always put expanding foam, caulk around and inside everything! Now, Wellington says they supposedly put these sealants inside!! We still get HUNDREDS of bugs every summer. We have pictures and the actual paper with bug spray, I have to use every year, that we've given them. Not that I should have to spray for these bugs around the windows and property along with granular bug, but even that doesn't get rid of them. The fact that HUNDREDS OF THESE COME IN THE HOUSE THROUGH THE WINDOWS IS DISGUSTING!! Putting white paper down with a turned up edge and bug spray on the paper is the only thing I can do!

+ -1 moreTHEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE GOOD TO THEIR WORD. THEIR PRICE WAS GOOD ALSO. ARTISTIC WISE, WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLING THE WINDOWS AROUND OUR PORCH, THEY WERE ABLE TO BLEND THE OLD WITH NEW. GEORGE WAS THE PERSON WHO WE WORKED WITH AND HE WAS VERY GOOD. HE WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT. HE WAS GREAT ABOUT EXPLAINING TO ME SOME OF MY COMPLICATED WINDOW MEASUREMENTS AND SITUATIONS. MY HUSBAND WAS HAPPY AND THAT'S UNUSUAL.

+ -1 moreCOST WAS COMPARABLE OR BETTER TO OTHER COMPANIES I LOOKED AT. I CHOSE ONE OF THEIR HIGHER GRADE WINDOWS AND FELT I GOT A GREAT VALUE. WINDOWS LOOK WONDERFUL AND HOUSE IS GREATLY WARMER! INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THEY FINISHED THE JOB IN 5 HOURS AND LEFT NO MESS BEHIND. THEY EVEN SHOOK OUT THE RUGS BY MY FRONT DOOR. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS WITH THE SALESMAN. HE CANCELED ONE OF OUR APPOINTMENTS AT THE TIME WE WERE SUPPOSE TO MEET, AFTER I HAD TAKEN OFF OF WORK. I WOULD OF PREFERRED IF HE HAD CALLED EARLY (EVEN 30 MINUTES) TO LET ME KNOW. MY INSTALLER BENJAMIN MADE THE WORK LOOK SO EASY AND HE SMILED THE WHOLE TIME HE DID IT. I WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD TAKE ALL DAY AND THEY WERE DONE BY 1PM!
