Tuffys Sewer & Drain

Fantastic Job! The guys came in and immediately identified the issue, pulling some tree roots and debris out of the pipes. This was after another plumber sent by my Home Warranty company claimed to have cleared things a few weeks ago (but hadn't). I opted to have them run a camera through the pipes and they explained where there were some issues. The only reason I gave a B for punctuality is that he was unable to make our initial appointment time due to some unforeseen vehicle issues. Overall, very helpful and they did a great job! I will definitely use again in the future!

Awesome contractor! They pulled a bushel of tree roots from my street lateral - the LAST thing I expected. They worked super hard and didn't waste a minute. They explained everything before, during, and after completing the task. I thought their price was an absolute bargain for how hard they worked. I am SO happy I picked Tuffy Sewer and Drain! I didn't get any call from him, I had to call him. He did explained to me what his service entitled before He came out and I was appreciative about it.

They came out to look at our issue and are coming back next week to to fix it. They put a temporary fix in for now.

Excellent. They called us immediately just as I sent an email & on a Saturday! They came on Tuesday. They always called us as to what time they would arrive.

They snaked the bathtub and sink and the kitchen sink. Camera inspected the sewer line to the street and also snaked it. It went well and I would recommend them highly. The two workers were efficient, pleasant and answered my questions.

Chris showed up when he said he would. Immediately identified the problem with the hot water (was entering the cold line near an interface with the hot water at the hot water heater). In addition, promptly unclogged the drain that we were unable to, even with our auger. In short, we were very happy with the work performed, the promptness of the response, and the price. Would encourage anyone needing a plumber to use this company.

They did a great job. They had to replace some pipe because there was gunk in the pipe that was like concrete causing the clog.

Our drain in the basement started to back up one morning. I called Tuffy's because of their A rating on Angie List. Despite their busy day, they fit us into their schedule. They arrive at 12 noon (just like they said they would). They protected my carpeting with tarp as they hauled equipment down the stairs. They didn't waste any time and cleared the drain out to the street. They were polite and professional and answered all my questions. The job was completed in 2 hours. They had 3 more jobs to do after mine so I know they had a long day ahead of them. It was a good experience.

he unclogged everything that was clogged up & it running fine right now

We had a sewer back up on a Sunday late morning. Called a few people, Tuffy's returned the call and gave us the price difference between a Sunday call and a Monday call. We asked what appliances we could and couldn't use if we waited till Monday, he told us and we decided to wait. They arrived exactly on time, completed the work in under 45 mins, offered to mop where the overflow was and replaced the drain cover all for $152.00!

I asked that the basement horizontal pipes under the wash tubs be cleaned and fixed. Water was flowing out of a joint in these pipes all over the basement floor when I ran the washer. I can still see black sludge and goo in one of them. Just used the washer and my basement floor is flooded as all of the wash water is coming out of the horizontal pipe at a juncture. I had a family member here when they came. She was told that the problem was fixed. NOT SO. Invoice says "fixed leak on wash tub". Well, I did not ask for this as this was not the problem. So I do not know what they are talking about. I have lived in this house for decades and this is not a recurring problem.

On a Sunday afternoon we noticed that the basement drain had backed up -- what a smelly mess! After mulling the possibility of renting a "snake" to clean out the drain ourselves, we researched 'Plumbers' on Angie's List, and noticed that Tuffy's Sewer & Drain was local and had received favorable reviews. Phone calls were made to them and messages were left. We really appreciated the prompt return of phone calls, telling us that they were currently on another job and would be coming to our home after they finished. Sure enough, at 8:00 p.m. they arrived. After listening to my husband describe a similar blockage years ago, and the subsequent repair, they examined the situation, brought their equipment down into the basement and proceeded to work through the blockage(s). Blockage(s) were moved through as much as could be done with the equipment; drains were freed. They suggested that we call in a month or two when they will use a camera to see further into the drain. They left about 9:30 p.m.

Even though it took Chris longer than 1 hour to replace the toilet he did not charge extra which I really appreciated.

Purchased a "special deal" through Angie's List. Tuffy's contacted us within a day to schedule our service, communication initially through Angie's List and then by text. Chris from Tuffy's does great work, no up charges, very friendly. Chris does have a speech impediment, so pre-appointment communication is done through texting. We were very satisfied with the work performed and the value, will definitely use again!

Chris arrived on time. Chris looked at the problem and quickly got to work. Chris took time to remove all items under the sink. He worked on the drain for a good 45 minutes. Chris then showed me the drain flowing smoothly once again. He then clean up very nicely. A very nice guy.

He was very polite. Worked quickly but did the job well. Noticed one toilet didn't respond to the first fix so he did an additional fix that worked. He could have just left it after the first try but he knew that wasn't good enough!

Tuffy's plumber, Chris Kling, arrived exactly on time and worked on replacing a broken old toilet with a new one. Chris showed how the old toilet had been badly installed - someone had used excessive glue in place of bolts to anchor down the toilet because previous bolts had been broken off in the floor and were still there. This created extra work for Chris. However, he was able to fix the problem, did not charge for the extra time over the one hour special I had originally scheduled for, and did an excellent job with the installation. Would definitely hire Tuffy's Sewer & Drain again based on the timeliness, honesty, and excellence in work.

The toilet went smoothly. The kitchen drain had more blockage in the basement pipes than anticipated. Chris snaked it twice from the kitchen and again from the basement. He spent more than an hour on this and did not hint at an additional charge. He was very accommodating.
