+ -1 moreThis was to repair issues caused by inadequate installation of a front door/entry to our home a couple years ago. Due to the construction, and not checking at time of door install, water runoff from storms would collect above the doorway (outside) and slowly rotted the wood just above the door (also allowed for leaks into the home and rotted part of the door frame). Company replaced all rotted wood, redid the flashing and sealed everything so that water cannot collect any longer. Several storms later (I waited until I was satisfied) all is well...and dry. :)
Description of Work: Company fully repaired flashing, leaks, rotted wood, etc. from front door/entryway.

+ 0 moreWe had a double pane sliding glass door that I wasn't sure if I should go with vinyl or what to replace it. Larry came over and we talked about the difference and we decided to have a triple pane vinyl sliding door put in. Boy did we make the right decision !! We absolutely love it. They had the old door ripped out and the new door installed in no time. They cleaned up the mess and took all the old stuff with them. About a month or so later we called Larry to ask him about siding. He spent alot of time with us explaining the difference between the different sidings. We had steel siding and now have vinyl and they did an awesome job. Everyone was so polite and professional and took time to answer any questions we had. We would definitelytell anyone, if you need windows or anything done to your house, this company is great.
Description of Work: Purchased a vinyl triple pane patio door and had them install it. We loved it so much that we had them come back and install siding on our house. We had steel siding and now we have vinyl. I had always heard bad stories about vinyl siding but this is guaranteed not to fade or it gets replaced free! We love it!! With all of the heat and sun beating on the house this summer we can really tell the difference between the double pane sliding door we had and this new triple pane we now have. I would recommend this company and it's products to everyone. It is true that you get what you pay for. When we decide to replace our windows we will definitely have them come back and replace them too.

Description of Work: We not only had our whole house replaced with triple pane windows but they cut out 2 holes in the side of our house and installed 2 completely new windows.This included putting in 2 new headers and plastering the entire living room/dining room area.. On this side of the house they had to replace the cedar siding and had to stain it to match the rest of the house. We also had 2 security steel screen/storm doors installed. Along with the new windows they put in custom woodwork around the new windows in the dining room, living room and kitchen, including the patio doors.The owner Larry Martin was very professional and willing to meet us at anytime. He was very thorough in explaining everything and showing us what we were going to be purchasing. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with what we were getting. He was patient with us when trying to choose what we wanted. His crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were prompt everyday. We are very happy with the windows we have. A bigger bonus on top of the updated looks that added to our house is the reduction of our energy bill of about $85 per monthWe would highly recommend Tiltin Windows Doors and More for any home remodeling project you have.

+ -1 moreThe process was painless from start to finish. I had priced windows at several different locations and no one could beat the cost of AWS. Javier, Chad and the team did an excellent job of keeping me informed at each step along the way. On the day of installation, the team was prompt and ready for work even though it was about zero degrees outside. I can honestly say, I never expected it to go so smoothly and that the house was neater when they left than when they arrived. On the second day of trim work, things went just as well, and that evening I celebrated by opening all the windows in my home (even though it was zero degrees outside). I can now sit by the windows in winter without a draft and open all the windows in the spring to enjoy the breeze. My one small compliant with the windows is that the top sometimes slides down a bit when the bottom one is open and you have to push while you pull to lock the window. It's so minor compared to how great new windows are, that it would not stop me from buying them again.
Description of Work: Alternative Windows replaced all 19 windows in my home with double-hung vinyl replacement windows.

+ -1 moreNever was able to get the company to show up at my door when they said they would.
Description of Work: This company is a neighborhood store. I passed its store front many times. They were the first company I contacted why I needed windows plus I wanted to support a neighborhood company. I went on-line and registered there for a free in house estimate. I recieved a call from the company, the individuals name I do not remember, to set up a time and date. Since my wife's and my schedule are opposite it took about two weeks before a date was settles. The date for the estimate came. It was odd that I did not receive a follow up call which the man on the phone said would happen. The time came and went and I was a bit upset. I called the company and talked with another individual who said my date was a different one. I thought maybe I messed up so I rescheduled. The individual said that a 5:00 pm time might be a little late for their guy who does estimates but he said he would take the date and time down and schedule it. Well again no follow up call by the company and another evening wasted waiting for a home estimate for windows that never came. The company should have either stated they can not take such a late time, or called to reschedule the time or told us they were to busy and did not need our buisness. Its not like I have time to sit around to wait for nobody to show up. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
