Paul was very responsive initially. However, he worked with my husband initially and told him the doors would cost about $35/each. I was there when he actually performed the work and he told me he was going to charge me $80 for labor. Then he presented me with a bill for $227. I was surprised it was so high, but wasn't sure how much the doors had cost. After I paid the bill and my husband came home, we discussed the numbers and realized they didn't add up. I called Paul 3-4 times (he never answered) and left messages asking him for a copy of the receipt for the doors, just to put our minds at ease. He never returned my calls. I then contacted Nitz Hardware on North Ave. who referred me to him - they said they would ask him to call me. He never did. We are very disappointed and feel like we were taken advantage of.
Description of Work: Paul replaced folding closet doors in my son's bedroom. The work itself was fine - though the doors Paul purchased to replace the ones in the closet were too small, so he had to add a strip of wood on the end of each. Not an ideal solution, but one my husband and I were willing to live with. It would have been great if when he measured the doors he would have known the correct size to purchase.

He did a very nice job and was great to work with. I have used him for all kinds of work, usually helping with a larger project that I am doing myself. Plumbing, moving electrical outlets, quaring doorways, etc. He makes it possible to tackle many larger jobs on my own.
Description of Work: Removed and hauled away two garage windows, installed glass block windows, reinstalled interior trim, installed exterior trim and flashing.
