Hiring this guy was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. In short- he is the definition of HACK. He did a terrible job, caused me a huge amount of frustration, was rude, didn't show up half the time. He has to be babysat constantly. He demanded more money 2/3 of the way through the job, and then walked off into the sunset. It starts with his arrogance. You can't tell this guy anything. He's going to do it his way, even if it messes up your house. I asked him to use spray foam around the windows he was putting in, I even bought the Great Stuff, which he refused to use. He left nails all over the yard. He'd show up half the time. He hired subcontractors to do EVERYTHING. He whines, and complains and freaks out about any small hiccup that he encounters. Though I paid him in full, he threatened to sue me for a job he didn't even come close to completing. I could go on and on.... I wanted this job done before Thanksgiving, and I wanted it started by November 1. He started a week late and walked off the job when he failed to get it done in the first week of December. I had to hire another contractor to finish the job at a huge cost. My new contractor is GREAT. Its good to be working with a professonal contractor, not a professional hack. What a disaster. Avoid this guy at all costs.
