Excellent job. Extensive flooring repairs and minor plumbing ensured the tavern building in business for 114 years continues to serve the Milwaukee area community.

J P was very professional and friendly. They did the work as specified in the bid. The price was very reasonable. The quality of the repair was first rate. I would definitely hire them again for repair work on my home.

They gave me an immediate call back and came over to give me an estimate the next day. This is the company's busy season and they listened to my timely situation and fit me in. They did an excellent job! The work I had done was completed within 5 days of my initial call to them. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!!!

We had a project to refinish the interior of our master bedroom. It is a small room with gabled roof/walls. We wanted shiplap from floor up the walls, across the ceiling, and back down to the floor. The two end walls would stay the same but with wainscoting removed (some plaster smoothing had to be done). We agreed to have the demo done early to keep his guys working. To the point: the shiplap was poorly installed with seams and nail holes poorly filled and sanded. The center ceiling strip had a significant crack down across it and they installed it anyway. We have a small door (3ft tall, 1ft wide) into an unused crawl space. We requested that it be covered with the shiplap and appear seamless. The door was an absolute trash job. The top piece was not connected, and the spacing around the door was hand sawed so it was not straight or even. We had to have the door redone to it’s original, but it was impossible for them to correct and we’re hiring someone else to fix it. The paint job looked like it was done by someone who had never painted before. I had to inspect the work every day and call Jose every day to let him know the list of things that were wrong. When the project was “finished,” they did not vacuum so the room was filled with dust, wood shavings, etc and our furnace ducts were also filled with this. The electrical outlets were not installed properly and moved all over within the holes; one pushed in if you tried to plug something in. The framing of the tiny door came off when I touched it and the latch was installed with construction screws instead of the finishing screws, and the door did not close properly. I called Jose and demanded that he come himself. He came out with his guys and they fixed most of the problems, tried their best to paint clean lines around the edges of the end walls and the white shiplap, but the tiny door was a JOKE! I had to tell them how to fix it, then provided a new latch which again was installed with construction screws and still was not flush. When Jose asked me what else to fix, I told him to look himself and tell me if it was a 5-star job. As I waited in the room across the hall where they had cut the shiplap, I noticed a large area on the ceiling where the paint and plaster had been damaged like shotgun spray across the ceiling from their moving the pieces of wood around, and a scrape on the wood floor. Jose was finally as upset as I was. He purchased new paint for the room and refunded us the amount to paint the room as I refused to let him paint it because of the terrible job they did in the bedroom. In the end, Jose agreed that it was a 3-star job at best. What he said would take 2 days stretched across nearly 2 weeks. We need to repaint the end walls because there are large brush strokes that stand out. In the end, I paid him in full (minus the paint issue in the second bedroom) knowing that he was probably losing money having his guys out to our house so much to fix their mistakes. I would not recommend them for finishing jobs as there was no attention to detail whatsoever. Two stars instead of one because he recognized the job was poorly done, apologized sincerely, and tried his best to fix the problems. Be aware that they may over promise on what they can actually do.

I needed garage wall reanchored and entry door replaced. JP was quick to come and assess what was needed. His proposal included building a fake wall to take weight of roof while garage wall was realigned and anchored. The labor was to be 2 men for 16 hours. Proposed cost: $3000 for labor and materials, including new door. They arrived and determined wall could be pulled back into place without fake wall. Job took 2 men less than 8 hours. Job was done well, clean up wasn't. Screws and wood debris were left for me to clean up. Final cost: still $3000, even though no fake wall materials were needed or used and labor was less than half of what was proposed. Final invoice and reconciliation of adjustments was not received. As well, there is an issue of the new door catching that has not been addressed.
Description of Work: Garage entry door needed to be replaced. The garage wall had shifted off the foundation where the door closed, with the anchors severed.
