He did a great job for the price he quoted; he even patched a few small drywall flaws that I would have overlooked. He does great, careful work with real attention to detail; he's very pleasant and easy to deal with.

Description of Work: Interior painting using an Angie's list deal. They used every excuse and argument in the book to not perform the square footage advertised in the deal. My advice to them is if you can't honor the deal, don't offer it.

Description of Work: We were getting our basement remodeled and the painter was to coordinate with the general contractor to paint the walls that we had paid through Angie's to do PLUS we asked Schultheiss to paint baseboards, doors, etc at extra cost. The painter not only had serious issues with the general contractor he was very rude to us. He threatened to stop the work and even claimed he will sue despite paying immediately! The quality of painting, especially, the doors, baseboards and staircase baluster's and sideboards was awful. We will never ever use this contractor. Unfortunately, we end up paying the entire amount at the time of accepting the 'so-called deals' without really knowing the credentials of the service provider. This is unfortunate and not a great service to members. We had the worst experience possible a dare skeptical of making use of services recommended by Amgies blindly I the future.

Description of Work: Not timely returning calls and very uneasy with comments made about Angie's List. No quote was given and provider wanted us to help by doing some measurements.

Description of Work: This was my first time using Angies List and my first time to take advantage of a "Big Deal". |We do most of the work on our old house ourselves, but sometimes we need little help figuring things out. We had some trim for a closet door that was too wide on one side and needed to be ripped, and I had some trim I wanted put on the bottom of the kitchen cabinets that we could not decide on the best way to attach. It was so nice to have a carpenter come out and help us with this. He knew just what to do and got the work done in a fraction of the time it would have taken us to do ourselves. The only reason I am giving them a "B" is because my husband is very picky, prefers to do the work himself for that reason, and expected the work of a Master Carpenter to look better than his own. I think the work looks similar, just as nice, and I am pleased with the results. I would have that carpenter back. He was professional, efficient, and gave me some good ideas.

Description of Work: Installation of two doors. Installation was difficult as we have an older home and nothing matches up quite right. Did a great job in modifying the frame to accommodate the new doors.

Description of Work: The project started off good, however I had numerous issues with their ability and willingness to complete the project. |I was given misleading info repeatedly. I had to call foreman and company owner numerous times. Every time both of them gave me grossly conflicting reports regarding the communication they had with each other and why the project was not getting finished as agreed.

Description of Work: The work involved refreshing the paint on my house, fully painting the garage, and coating the deck and porch with outdoor floor paint. The project manager, Jim, walked the exterior with me identifying what I wanted and what needed repairs as well as painting. The crew of 7 came the next Friday and did all the work in one day. Working under Jim's on-site supervision, each of the guys did their own thing and were very agreeable and professional together. My neighbors commented on what a nice crew they were. Results are excellent.
