They did more significant trimming for me a couple of years ago that included removing some larger split trunk sections of (2) trees and more intense trimming of all the trees that likely had not been trimmed in many years. It was a world of difference with the trees looking great. This year, I wanted to have the trees trimmed to remove dead and broken branches, remove problem branches, and lift the crown on one tree. I find the company very quick and easy to do business with - traded a couple of emails for a quote, authorized the work, and they quickly got it done with great results. I'm pleased with the work and find them quick, easy, and straight forward to do business with.

Went very well. Fast response times both for estimate and work completion. Easy to work with. Raul was very professional. Quality of the mulch was excellent. Definitely would use their services again.

They arrived on time and as scheduled, and did daily cleanups at the end of the workday. Old lumber and fencing were removed from the site, and on the final day they did a complete and thorough worksite cleanup. We were extremely satisfied with their work and equally pleased with the results, and would enthusiastically recommend them for any landscaping and/or fencing project. Their bid was in the midrange of those which we received. There were some minor cost overruns, but these were due to changes which we made in the height of the retaining wall at some points. Overall their work was stunnning.

Their pricing was very reasonable and they went out of their way to see what we wanted. They made sure they met all our needs while other companies were not willing to do this. They were very cordial and they are very competent with their work. They were very punctual as well.

I found them on Angie's list. Overall I was very satisfied with the work they did. I would use them again.

I had a tree in front of my house that was dead and the CITI told me either I had to cut it down or else they would cut it down at my expense. So he cut the big tree down. I had some shrubs in front so he cut those and he put mulch. There was a huge tree at the back of my house that was touching the electrical line. Another landscaper had told me that he wanted the electric company in order to cut the tree down but Rodriquez went in there with his saws, cut the trees in certain places that it didn’t fall on the line. I didn’t have to call the V-Energy to come out and cut the power off. He just did a fantastic job. He also did the job the same day I signed the contract.

We were having trouble with water pooling in yard and poor grading next to house causing water seepage into basement. Rodriguez proposed a solution to regrade portions of house with poor grading, install drain in yard to carry water to drainage ditch, bury 2 gutter lines underground running to new PVC line to drainage ditch, and extend one gutter away from house where it was not practical to run a line underground. Finally, re-leveled and reseeded all areas that were excavated. From initial quote to finalizing the work Rodriguez was professional and did a great job. Dave was very responsive and always returned my calls or emails promptly. I had one item that I needed them to come back and complete, and Dave had the crew come back the next day. The crew was neat, professional, and courteous. The quote was reasonable compared to other companies. I would definitely use Rodriguez for future projects.

Overall everything went very smoothly, I recommend this company very highly!

Excellent! Everything went very well. No problems at all. They did exactly what they said they would. I am very impressed with their team spirit. I highly recommend them! What they were able to do in one day would have taken me at least a month if not more.

It was fantastic. They couldn't make it one day because it rained so they scheduled a new day. They were on time and did a great job.

They arrived, assessed the situation, and within 15 minutes the job was done!! They sent a 5 man team to do the job, they were all very efficient and they even blew all of the leaves off of my front lawn before they left! I was very impressed and would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Dave gave us our estimate, he was professional and friendly. He offered suggestions on how to do the grading and make it look nice and work for our yard. I liked how he was very specific on what his team was going to do before they came. After we decided to go with Rodriguez, but before they came, Dave sent an email asking if I wanted to update/change any of the specifics or had any questions. Even though I didn't have any changes, I appreciated the email. While the work was being completed I was given a small packet (3-4 pages) on how to care for the sod and watering guidelines. The crew was quick and respecful, I would use them again!

The company came out in the motning, gave me an estimate an hour later and at 2pm they were already doing the work. They finished in a couple of hours, cleaned up after themselves and were done. Fast and efficient.

Service was wonderful. Estimate was done quickly, and explained fully. The crew, was more than we expected. Were done quickly. Did exceptionally well. Cleaned up spectacular, would have never known the extended of the work by the way our town looked.

It was an outstanding experience! They were courteous and professional on the phone, and gave me an immediate window in which they could send someone out for an estimate. The rep was there when specified. He walked through the yard with me, pointing out additional things that needed to be done (i did not realize branches rubbing on a roof would eventually wear through) and some things that I thought needed to be done for which he suggested cheaper alternatives or lack of need. He was not just professional, but helpful and considerate of my needs and funds. The estimate was LESS than I expected, and I was billed for the exact amount. They were there within days of my having returned the signed agreement, and did a beautiful job with the removal, clean up, etc.! Couldn't have been happier with this service!

We were away when them came, so all we know is that in the morning before they arrived the parking space behind our house looked like an abandoned lot and a few hours later it looked completely clean and tidy. I was especially worried about them ramming into our cedar fence with a caterpillar, but they didn't even put a scratch in it. Awesome job.

The workers were friendly and very detailed. The new patio looks great. The edging and grading were done properly to ensure an attractive, even surface. Each block was meticulously placed by hand, one at a time, and fit into place. They even threw in a freebie - a gutter downspout extension to carry rainwater away from the patio. The sod was put down neatly and evenly. An added bonus - they sprinkled grass seed on the few areas that were too small/thin to cut the sod to fit. The end of job cleanup was thorough; nothing was left behind except a great new yard. The whole production took about five days. There were at least two fellows working at any given time. Raul, the owner, stopped by each evening to check on the progress and address any inquiries. He even gave me some DIY ideas to save money. A nice guy who knows his stuff. His prices were comparable to, or lower than, other companies I contacted.

We were very happy with the results. In fact, it turned out better than we expected. The group was fast and very efficient. This work was done in Aug 2009. I was not very fast in getting this report submitted, but want the work Rodriguez Landscape Co did to be reported.

As soon as the basement work was done, Dave came again and we two put together some new ideas. There were now some sticky issues that weren't there before, with a gutter extension and a sump pump extension both protruding out the front of my home that needed to be “covered up”/minimized some how, with plantings, etc. Dave sent me his 2nd Proposal. After going to some local nursery companies and trying to put together some plantings myself, I decided I was way out of my league. I told Dave I wanted to do things right and spend more money and even get a landscape designer involved (Donna Stubler) who often works with Dave although employed directly by McKay Nursery Company. So Donna and I met and using Dave’s basic last Proposal, we walked the grounds and she even came up with some fantastic ideas on other improvements at a minimum cost and then provided me with a computer layout. It was perfect . . . and I told her to go ahead and order all the plantings from McKay’s Nursery in Waterloo, WI . . . and all we needed was Dave’s 3rd Proposal to finalize everything. Everything went basically like clockwork. The plantings arrived on July 20 and they were really big and beautiful, as Donna had described. Early the following morning Dave arrived and went around the house with yellow liquid outlining the area for the new border and exactly where each plant should go. The workers arrived shortly thereafter and the project began. Dave went on to some other jobs he had going that day but kept in contact and returned periodically to check over the workmanship. Donna came and she and Dave walked the property together and both were quite happy how things were shaping up. The front was looking so good I now wanted to put stones around the whole perimeter of the house. They had brought plenty of stones so Dave on site gave me a good price estimate and I said, “Do it!” The workers laid sod along one side of my home, to the sidewalk – the most beautiful sod I’ve ever seen. Rodriguez Landscaping under Dave’s supervision didn’t skimp on anything!! This was a big, all-day project and it was very hot, but no complaining by any of the workers. The end result – OUTSTANDING, as attested to by neighbors and friends. I’m EXCEEDINGLY happy with everything from start to finish – I didn’t believe my home could ever look so good!!! And Donna's expertise in design and McKay's plantings were an important part of the equation. And already I have another but smaller project for Dave, Donna and companies to do next year!!

The men where hard working and did a great job. I know as a homeowner I still have to do maintenance to prevent weeds and grass to come into the area.

We are very pleased with the wall. Had we known we could have it repaired so well and for this price, we would have done it years ago!
