Joe was friendly and informative when I first called. We ended up communicating via text for the most part, which worked best for me. The removal and install were quick. The product, a 50 gal. AO Smith Commercial grade heater, is the exact same model that other plumbers would install. Every other estimate I received was $1200, so Reupert's price was hands-down the best. I ended up texting Joe a week or two after the install with questions. He responded quickly and was helpful. I'm very happy with the service!

On January 22, 2010, a plumber from Reupert Plumbing installed a new water heater for me, at my former residence in Whitefish Bay, WI. I was under the impression that he was familiar with ALL aspects of Village Code for this type of work, as he should have been. The company advertises that they have been and quot;...in Business since 1945.and quot; All seemed well at the time installation was finished, and for some time afterward. However, roughly a year into the future, this was to change... I was preparing to sell my house, and the Inspector for the Village of Whitefish Bay had to check a few items to see if they met code. One thing he found was that the exhaust pipe from the water heater terminated into a and quot;Tand quot;-shaped fitting, which connected to the house chimney. According to Village Code, this should have been a and quot;Yand quot;-shaped fitting, involving an angled fit instead of a ninety degree right angle, which sounds nit-picky, but the condition had to be met, so it had to be changed. ALSO... a portion of this exhaust pipe was and quot;...within 3and quot; of a 'combustible' (in other words, part of the wooden frame of the lower end of the chimney),and quot; another no-no! Both of these indiscretions had to be corrected before the Village Inspector could issue me the necessary permit for the sale of my house. In the next couple of days, I made three telephone calls to Reupert, attempting to schedule a return visit, to correct these problems which their plumber had created. NONE OF MY CALLS WERE RETURNED... Based on this show of apathy, I contacted my heating contractor, who said they could correct these problems. Two of their men came, re-opened an old (sealed-shut) hole in the chimney wall, re-routed the exhaust pipe away from the 'combustibles,' and changed the angle of the pipe joint. Cost of this was absorbed into a monthly budget plan which I was paying into, so I cannot isolate it exactly, but I DID have to pay extra for the mistakes made by Reupert. The Village Inspector returned, and was satisfied with the new arrangement. But roughly a week later, while I was at work one afternoon, my roommate, who was renting a room from me, answered the back doorbell, and found a plumber from Reupert, who had not bothered to return my calls, but simply showed up without warning, at the door. She called me, at which time I related to her in no uncertain terms to tell this clown to and quot;GET LOST!,and quot; and told also stated that if he did not leave promptly, she should call the police, as he was trespassing. He left, but seemed somewhat confused. After paying what I did for the new water heater and installation, I must insist that there are NO EXCUSES for these violations of Village Code because of the improper way Reupert did the job. They also failed to return my phone calls, and forced me to hire another contractor to correct their poorly done work. AMATEURS!...

They are reliable. They come out when expected. They do the work. They leave. These people have been in business many years. These days you can't stay in business if you are not good. We have always been satisfied with them.

for 5 minutes with a sawzall and 2 clamps with some rubber to fill in cut pipe. they were ok but expensive.

An appointment was set up for soon after I called. I was not at home when two men came on the service call. My husband said it was finished quickly and smoothly.

The repair ended up being more extensive than anticipated, which was fine, but the team left a mess which I had to clean up. Before beginning the work, which ended up replacing a large section of piping, shaking the pipe resulted in the pipe breaking and water spraying over a large area. Thus there was a soggy floor to clean and debris to remove. On a previous visit to install a new sink and toilet, the enamel of the sink was chipped, and they didn't tell me they had done so. In addition, again I had to do substantive clean up after they left.

They are great and I want to recommend them.

We have used their service in the past. They were here when they were supposed to be here and did the job. Their price was reasonable.

Reupert came in to clean up and repair the mess made by another plumber, - and they did a great job. They were professional, they let us know why what went wrong went wrong and they repaired the damage quickly, and for a good, reasonable, and well explained price. We had a problem with our bathtub drain - another plumber 'fixed' it so that it stopped leaking but the next day we saw that it was leaking more than ever, this time just through the pipes and into the basement. Reupert's people understood the problem, fixed it, and they cost us less than the first guy who made a disaster.

They were prompt and came when they said they would. From the other quotes I got, they had a reasonable price. They coordinated well with the village for the timing to have the valve shut off. They were excellent.

Work was done quickly and under my budget estimate. I was very pleased.

Plumber was courteous and prompt and worked quickly. There was some diffculty lining up the pipes in this old house so that the nut and washer would seal correctly, but job seems to have been done well with no leaks at this time. I am very happy with this company and have used them twice before, once to replace a wash tub faucet, and another time to replace some basement pipes that corroded.

I think this company is prompt in keeping time. They recently installed a new pump, but the valve that goes up and down was not working after the installation. The plumber with the most experience took a short time to install a new one. I think that you can rely on this company.

He charged $50 service fee, $65 labor and was only there 15 minutes or less and total bill was over $200. He did the job, but it was extremely expensive.

Work was done on time, as scheduled. In fact, the repairman was even a little early. He was calmly waiting in his car until my husband arrived home.

They arrived promptly, they performed the task requested professionally, and the charge for the service was reasonable. I have used this plumbing contractor before and they always meet my expectations.

They did a nice job and showed up at agreed upon time. At first the plumber appeared to be a littel rough around the edges but ended up being very friendly and funny. Reasonable rates.

They are prompt, courteous and reliable. I feel that they are very expensive though.
