RELIABLE MAINTENANCE PAINTING

Mark and his crew showed up on time. Rick and Derrick (the painters for my job) are great guys. Professional job. They also did a great job on wallpaper removal including one room that was just impossible. They cleaned up after they were done and left the work area good as new. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Work was sloppy. Trim around windows was only painted on the top, not on the sides. Didn't paint the hall ceiling. Several areas of paint drops where paint had pooled and dried into gel-like balls. I found a whole area of tiny paint splatters on bathroom floor. There were multiple drips of white ceiling paint onto tan wall paint. The most egregious was an entire wall of the living room where there was paint all along the floor - he'd painted the trim to the floor, and just left paint where it landed on the floor - no masking, drop cloths or attempt for cleanup. They left the garbage from their lunch on my kitchen table. The 2 painters spent 7 hours at my home total, and factoring in lunch, got paid $50-60/hr each strictly for labor - no paint included. That doesn't seem like bargain basement pricing, but perhaps it is - would explain the sloppy, rushed quality of the work.
