The team is scheduled to begin at the end of June. David did a good job providing a detailed written estimate and was prompt in follow up. The quote was competitive and David was the difference maker. I'll add to the review once the work is complete. Prior to beginning the work we did a walk around with the team to help ensure expectations would be met. The team kept me abreast of their progress and we concluded with a walk around and acknowledgement that everything was done according to plan. Very professional and great work!

I can't believe it has been 4 years since service was done. It has held up very nicely. Workers were courteous and punctual. When job was finished, we realized our front awning/deck railing wasn't included in original estimate. This was quickly done after discussion with foreman for a minimal charge. Jesse went above and beyond to find a replacement for our garage door trim. Overall very happy.

This company was EXCELLENT! They did a beautiful job and gave a GREAT PRICE. They informed me of issues on the chimney near above the roof unseen from the ground that had been left undone by the previous contractor. This allowed me to get the wood replaced and they came back to finish. I am EXTREMELY happy with them and will contact them in the future for painting and staining jobs.

Procision provided a quote to paint my full new construction house. During the quoting process, they were very responsive and had a competitive quote. I selected them as my contractor and setup a meeting for a down payment and signed contracts. Since a house build depends on availability so much, it was key that Procision was available when we needed them. Our meeting was delayed a week by Procision. Then, the day of our meeting, I called to confirm the meeting and they cancelled. In fact, they cancelled the entire job on me. I was told that they got a bigger job and wouldn't have time for my job. This put me in a bad situation and delayed my house build project by about 2-3 weeks until I could line up another contractor. I thought the way they handled this was very unprofessional. I am not saying don't use them, because they didn't do any work for me, but I just wouldn't do business with them in the future myself.

Called for an estimate and Dave was very prompt in showing up at the appointed time. The estimate was completed and emailed back to us very quickly. I was happy with the price and so I contracted Procision. This was back in late May. They came to do the work in late July which was no problem at all. There crew worked so fast prepping the house that I feared it wasn't prepped well. I called the foreman with some concerns and he assured me they would be taken care of before work commenced and they were. The crew worked very hard and had to get creative on one or two occasions (we have a very high roof line). They did an outstanding job on the house overall. As for our large cedar deck, I asked Jesse if they were going to use a power washer on it as I was concerned the deck would get the fuzzies, or get chewed up. (this was after they chewed up the railings on a small pine deck I had during power washing.) I was assured they would not use too high a power and not to worry. I was concerned about the cedar deck because 2 years ago we sanded it smooth and it was still smooth and beautiful. Well they roughed up the top railing and the decking when they power washed. I was assured by Jesse they would sand the roughness and fuzziness before staining. (We were using a pretty transparent stain) They didn't. Jesse never communicated to the crew about the sanding. I got them to sand the top railing a little with a sheet of sand paper, but they didn't want to do the deck boards Then when they did stain one guy did the first half of the decking with a brush, and then another guy came along with a garden sprayer and sprayed the stain on the second half while the other guy back brushed. The second half of the deck is much darker than the first half, and yeah the roughness from the prep is quite apparent. They would get and A++ if it weren't for the deck. In retrospect the crew worked very hard and the price was very reasonable. I got my monies worth and then some. No drips, no mess. As the deck stain needs to be done every 2 years or so, I decided not to make it a big deal and have it done right and resanded next time..

I don't generally like to write reviews because my husband is a perfectionist and is rarely ever completely happy with any service we have done here, even when he is overall satisfied. It is my pleasure to write that the ProCision team we worked with broke the mold - my husband has not one negative comment (in 26 years of home ownership) about the crew or the fine work they completed. Beginning with the estimate, Dave came out and was prompt, friendly and professional. He was also the only one of the 3 estimates that addressed proper handling of lead in the older layers of paint and took chips to conduct a sample (it was positive). One of the other estimates (highly recommended with excellent reviews), came in at twice the cost and never said a word about lead management (perhaps he figured it in his cost and just never told us, or perhaps he did not address the issue at all - we don't know). Of the 3 estimates, Dave presented as the most thorough, professional and ultimately most competitive. We did not even consider anyone else after that. The estimate was done last fall, and the plan was to start painting in late May or early June. Due to the considerable rain this year, the project needed to be delayed. We called a couple of times to check in, and they were able to get started in mid-July. Our crew consisted of Camerino, Jesus and Jose. They were here in the hottest summer days, and even the neighbors commented on how diligently they worked despite the soaring heat. All three demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and clearly take pride in doing the best job that they can. They were also very kind about pointing out and correcting minor issues that were not anticipated - rather than just covering up the problems with paint. Camerino clearly has strong carpenter skills as well as painting skills. The job was completed expertly. As a bonus, it was simply a pleasure listening to them work (we've had some pretty crass workers in the house at times). These three truly worked as a team - supporting one another, speaking in friendly tones, problem solving, respectful toward one another as well as out property. When they finished, they cleaned up so thoroughly that the only evidence of them having been here (besides an immaculately freshly painted house) was a tiny spot of paint on one of our bushes. We're keeping it as a souvenir of the best job we have ever hired out! We are now planning on bringing them back to paint the interior!

They kept me up-to-date each day on progress, recommendations, next steps, etc. I also asked to have a few small items added such as replacement of some cedar siding, fixing a drain pipe, painting a lamp post and mailbox post, etc. while the crew was here. They were very accommodating, and gave me on-the-spot price estimates for the additional jobs that I requested.

We were not pleased with the outcome. The work was blotchy and you can see it in the surface. The stain wasn't applied evenly taking into account even the fact that some woods would take up stain differently. We had a new deck that hasn't been put up and there were spots on the deck, they had left some stain on our picnic tables. Communication was not good. At one point, we didn't realize that they had apparently blown a fuse and so we didn't know that. They came knocking at the door on a Sunday, ready to continue and we had no idea that they were going to be coming. I would have prepared or done something. I understand that there's some degree of messiness in here but there was quite a bit on the downspouts, the doors and windows. There's a lot of spots all over the place. They also knocked a shingle off when they were up there. The put the shutters back on but they put them on wrong. Jesse, the foreman, had called in March to see if he could put up a sign up in our lawn. I told him we wouldn't want that, we were very unhappy with the outcome of things. He said that he would come out and check it but he didn't do that yet. There's been no contact since then. Prior to that, as I worked with them, they were responsive and good. So initially, my experience with them was good before the work was done. They were thorough and answered some of the questions we had and that's why we chose them. Those were the good parts in the beginning. I feel bad about not contacting them but from their point of view, it would be a good thing for them to follow up at the end of the project and see how things are going and even do a walk through.

I scheduled an appt for Thursday June 20th at 7:00. They did not show up. I called at 7:25 to see if they were coming. A woman took my information and said I would get a call back. Two days later, have not received a call.

The house was pressure washed several days before the team arrived. The job actually ended up being done several weeks before we thought it would be done. Jose and the team arrived when they said they would every day scheduled, including Saturday due to rain on one day during the week. They were respectful and very polite. The work they did was excellent and they cleaned up all of the paint chips after they were done. They put down all necessary drop cloths and covered all the outdoor lighting fixtures and decorations excellently. I don't know how they managed it, but they did not get even a drop of paint on anything other than the surfaces that were to be painted. They even went so far as to paint some of the trim on the outer doors that were not even on the contract. It was such a nice surprise to know that was one less thing my husband and I would not have to do. I cannot say enough about how well the job was done. The house looks great and I would not hesitate to hire them again, in fact we already spoke with Jesse about having the team come back to do some interior work on our cathedral ceilings and walls in the foyer and several rooms. We felt the price was very good for a 2 story cape cod home as well, so we were extremely pleased with the whole experience.

Jose called the night before to let me kno that he would be coming the next day to powerwash the house. He then would call the day before to let me know when he would start painting and he did this before each day of painting. He knew that we wanted the painting done by a certain date and Jose made sure that it would be completed on time. I feel that I paid a good price for the work that was done and will keep them in mind for later painting.

They finished the work in 1 week. They were very professional and got the work done quickly and efficiently.

Contractor never showed up and didn't call to cancel a preset appointment.

I am shocked by all the "A" ratings. I give this company an "F". We had an appointment scheduled with a confirmation number and they never showed up. My husband called and told someone about the issue and was told he would get a callback to remedy the situation that day. The call never came. I called them the next day and told them we had an appointment and that they never showed up. The girl asked me if I wanted to reschedule. Really? So they can waste my time again? I told her probably not based on the service I had received thus far. She did take my contact information and said someone would call me back. Guess what? No call.

We were well pleased with the workmanship, the professionalism and the punctuality. Dave and Jesse stand behind their service and are committed to top notch service.

They were very professional. They were very hard workers. They were very happy to do parts of the job I thought were necessary. They didn't think so but they did them any way because I wanted them to. They were very good that way. They worked very hard.

The job went very well. They were very nice and helpful. They did a lot of the work while we were on vacation and by the time we got home everything was done and cleaned up. They gave us a good price to do the job.

I would say that our experience with Procision Painting was very good from the very beginning when I sent an email inquiry through Angie's List to the completion of the project about a week ago. Dave responded promptly to our email in mid June and came out to give us an estimate. As promised, he emailed us an estimate within a week. The price was very fair and included a $1200 discount. It was also lower than an estimate we had received 2 years earlier from someone else. At that time, I told Dave that we were getting other estimates and would get back to him once we had made a decision. In the meantime, we contacted another A-rated painter from Angies's List. That painter took a look a the house and said that it would take a really long time to complete and would be a lot of work. He said he was very busy, but promised to email me a quote in about 10 days. After 3 weeks, I emailed the painter since I had not heard from him and he sent me a quote which was over 4 times the cost of Procision Painting. Dave contacted me at the end of July to see if we had any questions regarding the quote.I told him that we were not sure if we would be doing the painting this year or wait for next year. Dave was very understanding, and said that he was just checking in and we could call him if we decided to proceed. I asked him for addresses of places he had painted and we took a look at the places and were impressed. Towards the beginning of September, we contacted Dave to let him know we wanted to proceed. He said he would be able to schedule us at the end of the month. I asked Dave if he could come back again before we signed the final contract because we had questions about colors, etc. Dave came again and was very helpful and gave us suggestions about buying little samples and trying different colors on the house before deciding. This really helped us with selecting the final colors that we really like. The painting crew led by Carmarino were very thorough and good. We travel a lot and are not home during the week. This did not impact the job the painting crew did. In fact, our neighbors talked about how well a job Procision was doing. They also talked about how clean and considerate Procision was. When they were doing painting on one side of our house, they went to our neighbor and asked to cover her car with Tarp to make sure no paint or dust fell on the car. It was interesting that there were 2 other homes across the street being painted by 2 other companies at the same time as ours was. One of our neighbors, who is retired and who has lived on the street for 40+ years, commented on how Procision painters seemed to be doing a more thorough job than the other painters. Carmarino also worked with us to replace the wood trim as needed. Carmarino also helped us selecting the trim color giving us some suggestions. He definitely has an eye for color. The result-- the house looks beautiful. Dave and Carmarino are really good to work with. I would recommend communicating with them because they are both very responsive.
