+ 1 moreWe were extremely pleased with work and couldn't believe the ''new'' stairwell was the same one that looked so dingy and decrepit before. Where there was once a large chuck of crumpled plaster the wall now looks brand new. Small details count - conduit and pipe insulation painted to match colors on walls, e.g. Transition from yellow to white and back to yellow. Cleaned cream city brick foundation, sealed and painted so it looks new. Didn't try to sell us on expensive light fixture but found nice looking and inexpensive one at Home Depot. All joints between boards on stairs were nice sealed. Work came in slightly higher than anticipated due to extra materials cost (a lot of waterproof sealant!) but the quality of work made it every penny worthwhile.
Description of Work: We hired Alicia & her partner (Jeff Bray - see Handy Jeff under handymen) to replaster & paint walls along stairwell to our basement, repair & paint the steps, and replace an old ceiling light fixture.
