The moving company which moved me had me label my belongings that I wanted to go to the storage facility while I was at my temporary apartment. When I moved that day, I had things that I wanted to come with me. I left thinking every thing would be OK. She took it upon herself to take things to the storage that were to come with me. A lot of my items were scratched. I feel that she was very insensitive to my needs. I told her that it was a very hard situation for me. She rolled her eyes, and walked away from me. She had 4 or 5 college boys swoop in here and load everything into a moving van. It was a confusing, hap hazardous mess. I felt like it should have been a slower, more thought out process. She took it upon herself to take possession of my possessions. I had an antique pie hutch, an old bench, and a coat rack damaged. The coat rack was supposed to come with me to the temporary apartment, but it went to storage instead and was damaged. She did pay for the cost of the coat rack. She denied what happened. I thought she was very rude. I know my possessions so well because I take care of them as I'm sure you do as well. I was really mad that a lot of things I wanted at my temporary apartment did not make it there. Things were also lost. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER hire her to move your belongings. She should not be in this business at all.
