I had such a bad experience with them. I paid them $13000 for the service. I have a brick house. I hired them to paint the wood parts, such as, the windows, the trims; etc. I had received the quote, which was high. I went with them because they had advertised themselves as doing historical homes. I assumed that they were going to take the storm windows off to paint the windows. I was very careful to make sure that the storm windows were included in the work. In the end, they painted the storm windows on the outside, but didn?t paint underneath. The guy told me that it wasn?t in the contract. I told him that it was in the contract that they would look at the storm windows and if any repairs were required, they would do that too. I told him that if the storm windows weren?t taken off, then how they could be repaired. He only looked at it from outside. He got his crew to paint the screen but not the window underneath. They also did tuckpointing for me. Now, I have to get it totally redone and it is costing me twice as much to get it redone. They have to take it out and repair it. They told me that they would do this work in 2-3 weeks. They started the work in August and even in November they were painting the trim. When I asked him, they told me that it was getting too cold to paint. They were also doing some roofing for me. I asked them to take all the old roofing off and go all the way down up to the wood and start over again. It was in the contract. If I had been home, I would have known that they never did that. They just put another roof on the top. I had paid them to go all the way down, take off the old roof, and put a new one. They got my bill up to $22000. They charged me twice for the same work. This was when, the work was not yet completed. I was really surprised However, I ended up paying only $13000 as I was very upset. I had asked for an estimate on some carpentry work. I told them that I would decide to use them or not after looking at the estimate. I was shocked to see that they were chopping off the edge of the roof. I told them that I had not given them the permission to do that. I agreed to pay for the work since they had already started the work. Once they completed the work, they gave me a bill for $5000. I thought it was in the original contract. As I didn?t have the original contract right there, I paid them assuming it was not part of the total amount. When I looked at the contract later, I found that he had already charged me the amount that I had paid in the contract. So, he was charging me twice for the same work. I started getting upset with them and I started checking with the neighbors as what they were paying for the same kind of work. I discovered that they were charging me three times more than what the other companies were charging. I was having them a lot of work done by them. I had decided to use him since I thought his company could handle a variety of jobs. I asked the guy to give me a break up of the cost invol

The gentleman arrived on time, and was friendly and efficient. He charged me the quoted price and completed all work within the estimated time discussed. The painting itself was very professional and clean. Plenty of drop cloths on my carpet! Over all, very pleased and would certainly use this company again in the future.

Everything went very smoothly, from setting up an appointment to view the work needed, getting the estimate the next day, and setting up a time to get the work completed. On the day of the work, Alexei was on time, and finished in one day. He cleaned up everything very nicely and I was very pleased with the work. Originally, I was just going to have the basement stairwell done, but as I showed him the recently finished basement and wanted his opinion on the unfinished portion, he included in the quote the cost of the entire project, which included a discount if the work was done all together. Since I eventually wanted to get the other work completed, it made sense to get it done at the same time, especially getting a discount.

The guy that came out was a pleasure to deal showed up on time and did great work. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They fixed some walls that needed to be re-plastered and then they painted the wall as well. I was very impressed with the work and the professionalism.

OWNER, ALEXEI EASTON, WAS VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. HE WAS PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS, PERFORMED THE WORK PROMPTLY, AND THE PAINTING WAS NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE WAS QUITE REASONABLE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS.
