We have been very happy with the work Paul has done in our home.

had contacted them to install 2 light fixtures. The appointment was scheduled for 9am, Paul arrived close to noon. Upon his arrival, we discussed the work that would need to be done. One of the fixtures needed the drywall cut open to be installed flush/nicely. I was very clear I wanted the fixture to be flush/looked nice. No proposal or talk of $ before work was performed. Paul found me for payment without discussing that the work performed had deviated from the scope of work we had originally discussed. The stainless steel junction box was left visible; the fixture itself was wobbly and not secure.Felt like it would fall from the ceiling if I changed a light bulb. I had called to ask what happened, he said “he didn’t have the parts with him at that time”. No clear answer why the work was performed if the parts weren’t available or why I wasn’t notified of the situation. Was told “painting it would be easier on everyone” and he’d need to “look to see if he has any parts that might resolve the problem”. After a 20min google search my father (located 100 miles away) was able to determine and locate the parts before Paul was. 0 out of 10 if i could!

Paul removed the old fan and then assembled the new fan and installed it very speedily and efficiently in a minimum amount of time.

Paul did a great job on our outdoor and indoor lighting. Will definitely call again. Thank you!

It was poor! He was over an hour late, and he didn't fix the electrical problem. When you open and close a microwave door, it shorts out the microwave and the entire kitchen at the same time, and that's his answer.

Great. He found a way to install a new circuit without a sub-box, as others were going to do. Saved half the money. The work was done expeditiously, it looks good, and it functions great. He scheduled me in with a couple of days of selecting him. Very nice guy, too. I've already talked to him about bidding on a bigger project in the fall.

Paul was punctual. Physically, he was appropriately dressed and well-groomed. Personality, he was courteous and professional. Aptitude, he had a clear algorithm to tackle the problem, and he articulated clearly at each step. Due to the pandemic of the coronavirus, social distance was respected. Even though it took a bit longer to rectify the issues, Paul was meticulous and methodical with his dedication to the task at hand. I would not hesitate to call North Shore Electric, LLC for any electrical issues in the future. In addition, I would recommend Paul to all my family and friends. Lastly, this review was NOT compensated or solicited by anyone. Whenever I experienced great service at a reasonable price, I want to help spread the good news. Full disclosure, I paid $240 for getting my ceiling fans, lights, and outlets to work again. Extremely fair!

Paul called me within two hours of submitting a service ticket. He listened to the issue I described and gave me a service date within 7 business days. Upon arrival, he identified incorrect wiring in regards to three pole switches. At my request, he made the outlet "hot" all the time and non-dependent upon the master and companion dimmer switches. He was able to access a junction box in our attic to re-purpose the existing wiring and was completed with all work in approximately two hours. He was kind enough to spend fifteen minutes providing free quotes/estimations for a couple other electrical projects that I've been thinking of (i.e. - piping more outlets in my garage, installation of a ventilation fan in a bathroom, etc). 10/10 would recommend for electrical work, I'll definitely be calling him again. I originally booked the first electrician that got back to me through Angie's List, but had to go with North Shore Electric because I was getting a Master Electrician at half the price. Paul is well worth the time and expense!

Excellent - the older home needed a new junction box as part of the installation. Paul did an excellent job and I would highly recommend his services.

It went very well. Paul gave me a good price, and did the work very efficiently and cleaned up everything when he was done. There was a coupon for a 10% discount on Angie's list, and Paul honored it with no hassle at all. Paul completed the work in the time frame promised, and my electricity was back on and working well sooner than I had expected. Paul was great to deal with, and I would highly recommend him.

Great job Professional, meticulous Had to reschedule a few times based on his work flow changing But Paul did a great job, reasonably priced. Would definitely use again. I’m sure one vanity was really tricky given placement of existing box. But great job. Just wish I’d been aware of his 10% off coupon, as this would have been a nice discount given the amount of work he did ($650)

He is a low key person, easy to work with. He did all 3 jobs, and I particularly appreciated that he cleaned the bathroom rather than replacing it.

He had the right parts and tools, understood what needed to be done and did it efficiently and well. The job included creating a hole in our bedroom ceiling to accommodate the new ceiling outlet, pulling the wiring through the attic to the bedroom wall where the new switch would be installed, changing out the existing 2-gang switch box for a 3-gang box, neatly widening the hole in the existing dry-wall to accommodate the wider box, freeing up the super-tight original cabling to the 2-gang box to create enough play to fit them into the new, wider box, and probably a bunch of other work I can only guess at. He was careful before he cut into any of the plaster -- measuring at least three times to be sure. He cleaned up very well afterward. He'd estimated the job at $300 and stuck by it, even though I suspect the job took him longer than he'd originally planned, and then reduced it by 10% as an Angie's List discount. I needed to have the job scheduled within about a week after I called, and he cheerfully made it happen, with no extra charge for my narrow time-window. I'm very pleased with his work, the cost, the result and his flexibility. I'll be calling him in near future to do some other electrical work in my home, and I expect I'll be equally pleased with that experience.

Confirmed the underground wires running from the circuit panel to the garage have been comprimised and are in need of replacement. Paul from Northshore Electric was very thorough and professional.

Paul Griffin did a great job on both projects. He gained our trust with his knowledge and professional approach to his work. For example, he discovered and remedied a serious electrical code violation (electrical box hidden behind drywall) when doing the light fixture replacement that had posed a fire hazard for the 20 years plus that the fixture had been in place. We will use this company again for any projects requiring an electrician.

Paul arrived exactly on time. I showed him what I had in mind and we discussed options. After agreeing on the way to proceed, Paul shopped for the fixtures and returned to install them all. He recommended LEDs so I wouldn't have to mess with ladders and changing bulbs. (I appreciate that since I'm over 70 and don't do ladders. ) It all went smoothly and I am very pleased with the results.
