I admit I hated having to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment. Smelly hot water is not fun to live with, but they did say they would come out sooner if someone cancelled, but.. no one did. They came out at the scheduled evening, and fixed it! I did speak to the plumber that installed the water heater, and he quoted me $200 for the project, which, according to YouTube, would take less than 10 minutes, and only needed a 1 1/16 heavy duty socket and a bucket.. and some strength. After the discount from the coupon from Angie's list, and the fact that we bought the new Anode Rod already.. we still had to pay $110 out of pocket.. guess it's better than $200 total. Norman's also mentioned the 'usual fee' of $200.

As far as I am concerned, Norman's handyman service is a rip-off shop. The handyman wanted $100 to make a hole in the drywall to see the leak. Then another $150 to fix it... most like by tightening a fitting and applying pvc glue. It seems that they believe money grows on trees.

We used the coupon for their electric inspection service from Angie's list. Jason called twice to scheduled and rescheduled the appointment as he had to rearrange it for personal reasons. He was very polite and helpful with our questions. Our problem was solved when he found the right switch for the outlet. The coupon that included $75 for the work covered this inspection trip.

He was thorough and pleasant and I am very pleased with the work that was done.

I bought a deal through them and they said they could come out on Palm Sunday from between 12 to 2PM. I missed a family dinner over this and they never showed up. I called him at 2:30 and it went into a forwarding message. He never called me back and gave no reason why he could not make it.

He did a very nice job and I'm pleased with his work.

i purchased an Angie's List deal toward an electrical service call and credit toward repair work. Based on the time spent troubleshooting, I had to pay an additional amount over the cost of the credit. Unfortunately, our final electrical solution will be a larger, more expensive project, so we have to wait until it is in the budget. Was very friendly and helpful during the troubleshooting, and provided several options. He worked very clean and was respectful of the vintage furniture in our home. (He was also very patient when my 2-year old daughter kept interrupting our conversations.) :) We look forward to using his talents for future projects in our home!

Great! My bathroom had a lot of issues but they were able to fix the problems at no extra cost.

It went very well as we were able to move the work date up due to warm weather. He fit my simple (to him) job in between other work so he could come on my day off.

Jay was very considerate of my home and did excellent work. I would use his company again.

The whole process from start to finish went very well. Jason contacted me on the same day that I made my Angie's List purchase. We set the appointment and he was punctual with his arrival. He displayed an awesome on-site disposition and was able to answer all of my questions. Thank you again Jason for your time and expertise.

Exceptional quality and fair prices. Very professional and trustworthy. I would use this company in a heartbeat before anyone else. As a matter of fact, I can't imagine ever using anyone but Norman's.

Jason responded promptly to our initial request through Angie's List to make an appointment for work to be done. He was on time for the work appointment. All went well with all installation tasks.

Wonderful. He was the only that was able to fix it, I have had a couple of people try. He came and told me what he was going to do and did it efficiently. He did a good job.

Jason ran into issues associated with stone trim, but he came up with a very acceptable solution.

I declined Jason Norman's verbal estimate because I thought it was high for a licensed plumber and extremely high for a handyman. In the future I will check out contractors not only by their reviews but their website and state licensing. Below are abbreviated comments from Angie's List Representatives. Awesome work! Got the drain unclogged and working again and put all the pieces back together. Evening hours are great ! He was able to come after work and get the job done.

Plumber arrived at 2:15 pm on 1/16/17 and left at 2;30 pm. (15 min's). No replacement was made. The bonnet nut was tightened by hand on inside faucet only. Since no faucet was replaced, a credit should be given due to part of the deal.
