Bonnie provided an estimate during our inspection phase of home buying. We were ready to proceed with this project two months later. We wanted to receive estimates from other companies but we had a couple companies no show our appointment and the two that showed up where unprofessional and not thorough. We decided to go with Midwest Enviromental Services because Bonnie was very professional, detailed oriented, and punctual. She remember our bid despite being months ago. She thoroughly explained the process over the phone and even came back to our house to answer questions. Her price was slightly higher compared to other companies but she actually took the time to find all of the asbestos present in our house, where other companies missed areas. We are very happy with all the guidance Bonnie gave us and the job well done. I would not think twice before recommending this company to family and friends that need asbestos abatement.

I contacted Bonny via email for a quote on removing floor tile and mastic that both contained asbestos from my basement. Bonny replied within a few days and scheduled an on-site quote. She arrived right on time for our appointment and proceeded to examine the basement floor and give me options. While I had planned to remove the entire floor to make way for a future renovation project, Bonny suggested an alternative where only part of the floor would be removed in order to cut costs. I appreciated this additional option and did end up choosing this alternative. Bonny was very flexible with scheduling the actual work, and we were able to select a date where I was off from work. The only glitch came when I didn't hear back from her on what time her team would be arriving that day which made planning difficult. She did call the morning of the scheduled work to say the team would be here in 30 minutes and later apologized for not seeing my email inquiring about their start time. From there, everything went smoothly as the team worked diligently all day and the end result looks really good. After the work was done, Bonny kept the air containment in place and took an air sample for testing. When the sample came back clean the next day, she came over (at a time convenient for me) and removed the containment. Overall, we were very happy and would certainly look to Bonny in the future for other asbestos removal work.

Bonny was very responsive in providing a free quote. She was very helpful in arranging for the work to be done and flexible with our busy schedules. She honored a quote that was provided and seemed to be very up front about what work needed to get done and what work was not necessary. The technician who conducted the work was friendly, informative, and punctual. Unfortunately, no one told us that we needed to move some furniture and other things being stored out of the way. We now have the sealant on the floor, some lawn furniture being stored downstairs, and other items. Admittedly, we should have moved this, but were not asked to. In addition, because of the time lag between the original quote and when the work was done, the technician was not sure of exactly all the spots we had to have done and I had to show him again - because of the extensive number of spots, I could not point to each of them and I was not completely positive each spot was done. That said, I now feel much safer briefer in the basement than I did originally.

The owner, Bonny, met with me to go over the job. She was very thorough, but despite my contacting her two additional times and her promising to get me a proposal, it never happened. I didn't appreciate her wasting 3 hours of my time.

Bonny Reiske is the owner. They were very reasonable and very efficient. They got it done with no muss and no fuss. I plan on using them again soon for another house.

Their work was completed very quickly (about a day after the air cleanup) and the room was left very clean and neat. We couldn't have had an easier time of it with their help and we were extremely satisfied with their work.
