Description of Work: They Fertilized and treated a Japanese Lilac that has been loosing leaves and dying back. The tree bloomed this spring for the first time in 3 years. They planted 2 river Birches in my backyard berm. Time will tell how the trees do but they seem to be doing well as of now.

Description of Work: We worked with arborist John Wayne Farber. He spent about 2 hours teaching us to prune and train our trees. We have about 14 trees in our yard. All were planted within the last 6 years so it was the perfect time to start pruning them while they are young and manageable. John Wayne was extremely knowledgeable and taught us exactly how to cut each branch and how to maintain the beauty of each tree. Highly recommend.

HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE DOES NOT GIVE UP-FRONT FIXED PRICES OR 'NOT TO EXCEED' PRICES, BUT INSTEAD ONLY GIVES APPROXIMATE ESTIMATES -- THEN HE CHARGES BY THE HOUR. I DID NOT BOTHER WITH AN ESTIMATE... AS IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT'S REASONABLE TO ASK FOR FIXED PRICES ON FIXED WORK. -- OTHERWISE IT'S A BLANK CHECK!
