+ -1 moreHis crew was on time, took out about 50 ft of old sidewalk along with a large slab, pulled out old retaining wall and built a new one that looks great, he also did a great job on the new sidewalk and steps by the street. I will be giving any and all my jobs to him from now on.

+ -1 moreI first talked with Mario on the phone 8/26/2013 in the evening and made an appointment for him to meet me at my home on 8/27/2013 at 6:30PM. Later that evening I called him back to ask if we could move the appointment to the same day but changing the time to 7:00PM as I would not be home by 6:30PM. He said he would rather change the date also to 8/28/2013 and keep it at 6:30PM. I told him that would be fine and I would see him on Wednesday at 6:30PM. 6:30PM comes and goes and I continue to wait until 7:15PM which I think gives him plenty of time to show up late or call and say he is running late or has to change the appointment. Mario never showed up, never called to say he was running late or needed to reset the appointment. This was my first experience with contacting someone from ANGIE's LIST and it was a bomb. Now I am going to go write the review for the second Angie's List experience which turned out to be a BIGGER BOMB. When reviewing this review before publishing it I received a message that more wait is given to a review where the work has been preformed. Well, they have to show up in order to get to ever do the work!

+ -1 moreOverall it went very well. If I ever need concrete work again, I will call Mario. I'd love to have a stamped patio but currently have a deck so will keept that.
Description of Work: Mario's Concrete bid was the least expensive of 3 bids and he offered more than just concrete pouring. I had a brand new driveway, garage floor and walkway to front door. The walkway was stamped and Mario did not charge extra, which was what he offered in addition to the other bids. The stamped concrete (walkway) looks amazing and it takes an artistic person to do this. There was a snag with the permit but Mario helped by presenting my case with the inspector and all turned out well. Many compliments on my driveway by neighbors. Two year warranty.

+ -1 moreOverall work was fine. But his finish work is not so hot. Be sure that you have a clear understanding of what he is proposing he will do BEFORE you start. Language barriers hinder the experience.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE GOOD, PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS and GAVE US A GOOD BID. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: THEY COMPLETELY RIPPED OUT MY FRONT STEPS AND 12 FEET OF SIDEWALK AND PUT IN NEW STEPS AND SIDEWALK.
