They just have always been real responsive and have always done a good job.

We got their name from the people we bought this house from. They referred us to M&M Tree Service. Overall excellent! They are just my go to tree people, that’s the bottom line!

We've used them for years also. We've been using them for thirty years and absolutely we would use them again. It's a family firm. We have dealt with two different generations and we find them to be knowledgeable and trustworthy. Polite and diligent.

They did a great job! Cleaned up every bit of cutting of the bushes and vines they took out. They also sprayed the base of the vines so that they don't grow back. I was very impressed with their professionalism and of course that they came in less than their estimate.

They did a good job and the price was good.

The tree looks great heading into winter - the real proof will be next year when we see how it looks in spring. Fingers crossed. If it's looking good I will upload a photo next spring.

Arborist walked me through the condition of the flowering crab in the front yard, which had a significant fungus problem. It also hadn't been trimmed in a very long time. The back yard tree was in pretty bad shape (and just ugly to boot). We decided to fertilize the crab and treat the fungus and remove the tree in the backyard. Removing the tree and stump grinding was $792. Fertilizing the crab was $79.20. 3 early spring sprays of the crab was $55 each. It all was handled professionally and in a timely fashion.

When I called I was asked if I wanted to set specific appointment or could the arborist come at his convenience and then follow up with me with his recommendations. I requested the specific appointment so I could ask questions and hopefully learn about the two trees. I was told the arborist would call me directly to set up appointment. He did call about 5 days later and said he was close by and could he come now. It so happened that was OK. He evaluated the two trees and recommended that the one in the front yard could be trimmed, treated for fungus and fed. The backyard tree, which turned out to be a Spindle Tree, was iffy in my mind --- not attractive, hanging over into neighbors yard and over my roof, potential to bring down wires in a bad storm. After discussion, I decided to accept the recommendation for the front yard tree and to think about what I wanted to do with the backyard. $150 to trim front yard tree and the full treatment for scale in the spring will be $90. Tree removal for backyard tree was $475 and stump grinding was $125.

M&M quickly responded to our urgent call to remove a large tree that was split and ready to come down on our garage and house. They came out the next day and safely took it down. They also took care of some hanging branches as well as branches that had grown around out electric and phone wires from the street to the house. They worked quickly, were very pleasant and did a great clean up job. We are very happy with the work they did. We also use M&M for snow removal services. They do a great job and we have contracted with them for this winter.

They have taken care of spraying our crab apple tree for many years. They send an estimate each year for us to sign and then call before coming out to spray. They do three treatments for a very reasonable price where other companies only do one. The tree looks beautiful! We thought it would have to be taken down before we starting using them. They saved the tree!

Very well. It took 5 weeks for them to come from the original acceptance of the quote. This was longer than expected, but not a problem. The tree specialists that came and did the work were meticulous. They thoroughly cleaned up and took time to explain what they did and confirm it was acceptable.

We couldn't be happier with their work. They removed the very large tree quickly and cleaned up extremely well. They managed not to drop a single branch on our neighbor's new driveway that was next to the tree. The stump removal followed about a week later and they did as good of a job with that, as well. We would definitely use them again. And I received four estimates for this work and they were one of the two services that were the most reasonable.

It didn't , received a call that they could come out for an estimate. Told them I could take off work any time between 2pm and 4pm. He stated closer to 2pm would work. I left work home at 145pm and left the house at 5pm. NO SHOW .... NO CALL. Wasted my time and lost time at work.

Bob Smith, owner, came out and gave a written/ emailed estimate. I hired M&M and a few days later his crew came out to cut down the LARGE tree that was VERY close to my house and neighbor's garage. The work was very clean and efficient. There was no damage to any buildings even though this large tree was very close to the buildings. His crew arrived right on time and were very friendly and professional. Bob kept me informed before the job was done and with the scheduling of everything. About a week after the tree was cut down the stump and roots were ground out. Everything they did was very professional with excellent results. I am very pleased with M&M's work and would definitely hire them again! The price was very reasonable, slightly lower than some and a lot lower than others.

I wanted the tree branch removed immediately. They came out and got the branch down within 2 days of my calling them.

They were terrific. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate; Paul was very informative about the process and gave me some general tips. Work window was around three weeks, and the work was done within that window. Crew was professional, thorough, and left the place completely clean. Stumps were ground next day. I asked for a bit more pruning, and that was no problem at all. This was my first time with tree maintenance and stump removal, and Paul answered all my questions promptly and courteously. They will be back for ash borer treatment next month. I will definitely use M & M again.

Very well. Scale bugs are gone. A bit expensive, but I'm pretty sure that's the rate everywhere. They have to do multiple sprays throughout the year to make sure you can kill the bugs when they're outside the waxy shell. I'd rather pay a bit more and make sure they're gone than have them come back and have to keep doing treatments. The magnolia scale was causing a big mess and it's nice to have that taken care of now.

We had used M&M previously for an insurance claim in which a very large tree branch had broken off and hit the house. At that time they cabled the other branches on that tree and also looked at our other large trees and identified another large branch on a different tree that was starting to crack/rot and would fall onto the house. We removed that branch at our expense and a few years later a different branch fell off that second tree. We are renting the house so I contacted M & M to remove the remainder of the tree, which they did with no problem.

A three man crew came and quickly took the tree down. They chipped the wood. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Clean up was excellent. We asked that they leave the wood chips for us to use for future landscaping. They left the chip pile exactly where we wanted it. We have had M&M Tree Service remove and trim many trees and have always been completely satisfied with the work they do. We also have them do snow plowing for us.

They were punctual and fairly priced. The work was completed as scheduled, but with some minor property damage (a glass block window was chipped), but our tree was very difficult to remove.

I waited a month and a half after signing the contract but it was well worth the wait. The crew arrived to the minute stated when I was told they were coming. They did everything I asked and more. The maple looks amazing, left me some firewood I asked for, and the back yard looks huge with the old apple tree gone. The ONLY evidence that they were there is a little sawdust. An absolutely FANTASTIC job! I don't think they were the cheapest and I started to wonder a bit when I hadn't heard from them in a while but like I said-it was worth it all the way.

Initial contact and estimates with this company were great. They were the only company to walk around the residential lot and look at my other trees and provide advice about a dead birch. Their prices were higher than a few companies who estimated the job; but in the end they seemed like the best option because they stated they would cut the logs into 16in pieces--thus eliminating the need for us to purchase a chain saw and making their price a little more reasonable for our situation. They called me 24 hrs before they were going to perform the work and the work was completed on time. I was told we needed to clear the site for the stump grinding. As we were moving the pieces and stacking we noticed a significant variance is cut length quality. Remember we chose this company due to the 16in length in the proposal with the understanding that some variation is normal, however we found a range from 7in all the way up to 22in. Once the site was clear we alerted Bob and informed him of our issue with the wood cuts. He said it sounded inconsistent from their typical work and offered to have people come back and cut the wood; however at that point it was impractical because we had already finished stacking and moving the heavy wood. Not to mention cutting these pieces would have left even more variation in size. The practical fix would have been a price reduction but that was not offered. They came back a week later to grind the stump and the work was finished on time by the required complete date. Overall I think they did a fair job, but clearly the people performing the work do not care about the cut consistency so if you are looking into this company or choosing them based on their 16in wood cut be cautious.

The estimator was easy to work with, the company was good to work with and when it came time for the work to be done the crews performed there work satisfactorily and cleaned up.

They were very responsive. They completed the job a week ahead of schedule.

I would use them again in the future.
