M&M Tree Care

I wanted to spread out mulch before the weekend. I called early in the Thursday morning, they took my order and had it delivered by the time I got home from work. It could have just been fortunate on their scheduling, or they were just prompt to deliver. Either way it was a pleasant surprise and great service.

Provided professional analysis and quotation for work to be performed. Explained in detail the problem and suggestions for treatment. We were flexible on time of treatment, so can not comment on punctuality. He billed us after his visit. We have used M&M Services before and have been happy with their work.

Everyone was very nice to deal with. Very professional and knowledgeable. They did what was expected in a timely manner.

They did a great job, were friendly and proficient

They did an excellent job. The house insurance paid a part of the cost because the tree fell on our garage. The tree fell partly on our garage and partly on our neighbor?s house. We called them and they provided emergency service and got everything cut away that night. They brought some lights and all the equipment. They used pulleys and all kinds of stuff. They did the job with no further damage to anything. Then they came out and ground the stump. They even came back and out the dirt and grass there.

It had taken them about an hour and a half to do the job. They were quick. Their work was good and the price was also reasonable.

Very knowledgeable individual came out to look at my trees and explained how and why they were diseased. They sprayed them twice, and I am already seeing improvement.

When I arrived home, the two men from M&M were already at my home and busy dragging the brush from the backyard.They were done in about a half hour. I am very pleased withM&M Tree Service.

M&M Tree service does very good work. I have been very pleased with how they prune my Elm tree. I like that I do not have to be home when they arrive, they just complete their work. I will continue to use this company, they are very professional.

We've used M&M for tree removal and trimming in the past. I saw an ad in the paper that they had mulch for sale - didn't know that did that. It was excellent mulch at a much more reasonable price that you pay from a landscape company. They delivered it and dumped it just where I asked. I ordered 10 yards, but I think they gave me 12. I'm definitely going to buy my mulch from M&M in the future.

They are prompt, whether it is an emergency or a regular service. They always properly clean up after themselves.

Unfortunately, I was not present for the estimate so I called the following day and talked to the arborist for 30 minutes. He was very informative regarding the work to be done and recommendations for preventative and maintenance care of my other trees. Service was provided 3 weeks after the estimate as was discussed. The job was completed in a timely manner and without disruption to surrounding plants.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was able to set up a delivery for the next day. It was nice that we did not have to be home for the delivery, they simply billed us afterward. The mulch is high quality; hardwood only, no pieces of pallets, or other junk wood. The transaction was overall very pleasant and I would not hesitate to purchase mulch from them again.

Very good experience. They had to block a busy street to cut down the tree. They had a crew of 5 guys, and spent about 1.5 hours. I opted to keep the wood for firewood; my only complaint is they only saved the largest trunk pieces, and chipped a lot of branches that could have been saved. Very straightforward discussion of how the job would go; no surprises or extras. They were a few hundred dollars less than one other company that quoted. Because of the busy street, they worked on a Saturday.

A local landscaper also highly recommended M & M tree service, which helped me decide to select them.

I called for an estimate and a man was dispatched within about 3 days. The estimate was very reasonable, comparable to one other I'd received, so I signed a work order. I asked that the stump be dug out well below ground, so that I could plant flowers near the spot. Also I asked him to be careful of tree roots of a nearby small oak tree that I wanted to preserve. He agreed and said 12" deep would be sufficient for this job, but asked that we cut existing branch stubs lower than its present 3 ft. height - as close to the ground as possible (my husband later thought this was a strange request). The workman showed up in a couple of days and completed the job quickly. I remarked the ground-out depth seemed to be only about 6" deep. He said he stopped because the main roots had been removed. I took a closer look with a shovel & he was correct - he had probably ground 8-10". He asked if I wanted the hole filled, but I decided not. He did a good job.

Once we agreed to get the trees treated, their technician treated the trees and left documents behind detailing what they did (treatment, quantity) and when they did it (date/time). They sent us invoices as each treatment was done. We are very happy with the turnaround time and hopeful that the treatments improve the health of our trees. The pruning/removal/grinding work they did in 2004 is what earned our repeat business. I stopped by the house for lunch the day they were here. I was amazed at the number of felled limbs/leaves that covered the yard. When I returned after work, I would never have known they had been there aside from some tire tracks and holes left from the ground-up stumps. They were not the cheapest bid we got, but they were not the most expensive either. They also did not attempt to up sell me or sell us stuff we did not need/want done. They earned our trust and our repeat business. We highly recommend them to anyone interested in maintaining healthy trees.

I thought the price was worth it. They did a good job, they had enough equipment and the people were very nice.

It never happened, because they would not respond to my request for an estimate.

They came out the next day after we called and gave us a price. It was the lowest we got. We checked out other companies. Three guys came back about a week later and did a great job. They like if your home so you can look at there work when there done. They did a fantastic job and I would use them again.

We needed to have a very large Norway Maple removed because it was hurting the foundation of our neighbors house. My dad (who is 73) played in this tree as a child and had his sandbox under this tree. Needless-to-say this was a hard tree for us to have removed, but we knew it had to come out. We wanted to save the wood if possible from this tree and have it taken up north to a friend's sawmill. Bob Miller arranged to have a friend take the wood up north for us at a very reasonable cost. No one else who we got quotes from where able to help in this area. In that, that tree was to be removed we decided to have the other problem trees taken out (3 more maples and 2 ashes). The crew was so polite and helpful. They even cut up some of the wood so that a neighbor could cart it away to make bowls. Also, they ground out a couple of stumps that hadn't been part of the job. I can't say enough about the skill of the crew and the professionalism of the owner.

We had a very good experience with M&M Tree Service. The people were polite and knowledgeable. The estimator showed up on time. The work was performed as promised. The price was fair (and MUCH lower than some of the estimates I had gotten). The only negative was that the work was performed on three different days with the explanation that there had been a lot of storm damage at the same time as ours and the crews were attending to the most critical needs first. I would have liked to observe the entire job, but was unable to due to the split schedule.

Even though they weren't the cheapest, we hired them because they would do additional work. They also agreed to come on a Saturday when my husband was home so he could oversee their work and direct them as to exactly what he wanted done. They were on time and worked quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and were very co-operative.

Bob's crew was on time and were very efficient and experienced. They did a fine job of cleaning up after themselves. They did exactly what we agreed upon and did it well. We have used M&M on a number of occasions, and they have never failed us. These guys know the tree business. They also provided a $50 senior discount.
