Little Miss Organization

Description of Work: We brought Mary Pat of Little Miss Organization into our home to help organize our basement. It was a project we were avoiding since we moved into our home two years ago. We have a fairly large basement which had great potential for storage however we were just tossing stuff there with no method. Mary Pat came out to meet with us to go over the space, determine our needs, and understand what we wanted and needed from the space. On her second visit we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. She is AMAZING! With her expertise, compassion and drive we now have a fully functioning storage room in our basement which is broken down into areas which work for our busy lives. Before Mary Pat came in, I would venture into the basement and have NO CLUE where anything was! Now I run down there to grab something and know exactly where to go!! She also helped us go through all of our basement belongings and help determine their overall long-term purpose. We had three piles - one was "keep", one was "store" and one was "donate". Without her guidance this would have been an overwhelming task we would have continued to avoid. She also helped us organize our basement into easy to manage areas. So for example I now have a dedicated "gift wrapping" area which is fantastic! I also have a whole shelf to store gifts as I purchase them throught the year. This is great with having small children so I can sneak them downstairs into an area they never go. Again without her guidance, this would never have happened!!
