 + -1 moreTONY IS PLEASANT, PERSONABLE, BUT NOT VERY RELIABLE ABOUT FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH VERBAL PROMISES. WE DID NOT HIRE HIM AT THIS TIME, AND WOULD HAVE TO GIVE SERIOUS THOUGHT TO WHETHER WE WOULD DO SO IN THE FUTURE. WE APPRECIATED THAT HE WAS INTENTIONAL ABOUT BOTH LIVING AND WORKING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. PERHAPS HE IS BUSY WITH WORK AND FAMILY AND THIS JOB WAS JUST MUCH TO CONSIDER AT THIS TIME. WE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A MORE PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE.
Description of Work: WE NOTICED TONY OF LEGEND'S MASONRY WORKING ON OUR NEIGHBOR'S' HOME AND NOTED THAT HE WAS DOING QUALITY WORK. WE CONTACTED HIM DIRECTLY, COMPLIMENTED HIM ON HIS WORK AND ASKED IF HE COULD DO SOME WORK FOR US. HE WALKED ACROSS THE STREET, LOOKED AT THE WORK WE WANTED DONE AND SAID HE DOES VERTICAL, NOT HORIZONTAL SERVICES. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE MEANT, AND HE SAID CHIMNEY'S AND SUCH, SO I ASKED HIM TO LOOK AT OUR HOUSE AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE FOR MASONRY WORK TO BRICK FOUNDATION, FIREPLACE, AND CHIMNEY. HE STATED HE WOULD BE BACK TO TAKE INFORMATION WITHIN AN HOUR. HE CAME BACK ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER, TOOK INFORMATION, AND SAID HE WOULD MAIL US AN ESTIMATE. WE STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM. WE HAVE SINCE CONTRACTED WITH SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, ONE ALSO HIGHLY RATED ON ANGIE'S LIST.

 + -1 moreIT'S GREAT TO WORK WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A PASSION FOR HIS CRAFT AND TONY HAS THAT. HIS PRICING WAS THE BEST WE FOUND BUT IT'S HIS WORKMANSHIP, SKILL & EXPERTISE THAT WERE TRULY REMARKABLE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR BAND AID REPAIRS TO HIDE A DEFECT OR TAKE PRIDE IN FINDING FAULT IN SOMEONE'S WORKMANSHIP TO SHAVE A COUPLE BUCKS OFF THE INVOICE, THEN CALL SOMEONE ELSE. HE DOES THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME & PRIDES HIMSELF ON QUALITY WORKMANSHIP.
Description of Work: CHIMNEY REBUILD FROM ROOF LINE UP & ENTIRE HOUSE TUCKPOINTED (CREAM CITY BRICK).
