I like to use local companies and choose them because they were only a couple of blocks from where I live. Their prices were reasonable. I would absolutely use them again for future service and would recommend them to others.

John came to the house and replaced three outlets with GFCI outlets. He added an extra two outlets to the box near the laundry tub in the basement. He also figured out and fixed a strange amateur wiring job in the attic. He was on time, was friendly and courteous, and he cleaned up after himself.

I had water leaking into my house from behind my electrical box, so I figured I needed a professional. KWK was VERY professional. Their estimator came to my house (free of charge), evaluated what was happening, and offered several suggestions on how to handle it. His honest opinion supported what I thought and unfortunately this time I will be making the repair myself (just need to patch hole where the conduit comes in below grade from outside when ground is thawed). As it turned out they quoted the best price as well, so had I used a professional to do the work, it would have been KWK. His honesty has won me as a customer for life. If I need any electrical work done, you can bet I will call KWK. I suggest them to anyone that asks if I know a good electrician, too. Thanks, KWK!

They arrived on time, did all the rough in work and came back to finish when the drywall was up. Very personable and hard working. I am very pleased with the work. Will surely use their services again.

I made an appointment for an estimate. Ken came out on the appointed day and time. He explained the whole process to me and told me exactly what I would need and what could be used of the existing hardware. He didn't try to "oversell" the job. He was open to any and all questions and took time to explain in simple language. I agreed to the estimate, which was considerably lower than three other electrical companies. The work was started the same week I accepted the estimate, and was finished in a day. Jose was the young man who did all the electrical work. He is an exceptional person. Very courteous and personable. He again explained the process and answered all questions I asked so I understood completely. He was very detail oriented, and conscientious in his work. He is not only a class electrician, he is a class person.

Came the same day I called for an estimate. Came in about $200 less than previous bid. Received estimate in a timely manner. Work was scheduled within 48 hours. Completed work in less than one day with two men. Overall, very satisfied.

I talked to Kenneth Kmet, the owner of KWK Electric, to make an appointment. Ken was very friendly and promised me an appointment at a time and day convenient to me. Jim showed up, after calling first, at exactly the time arranged. He was also friendly and very competent. He completed the job quickly, did not charge me for the time he had to go back to the office to pick up some heavy wire that he did not have in his truck, and even gave me some ideas about how to purchase bulbs that would last longer than those I was using. The trip charge was waived without the Angie's List coupon because I am a neighbor to the business.

The electrician, Tommy, wanted to stop by prior to the work being done at n/c to see what items may be needed to complete the work. This was very helpful. He had me get all the items he may have needed to complete the work. He arrived on time and moved right along completing all the areas that needed work. The upper bell did not work, but he explained that I either needed a new chime or it may be something in the older wiring. It took 2 hours to complete all the work. I was satisfied and would hire them again.

He was very fast and clean. Jim knows what he's doing and it was a great price! Great people! I'm having them back.

John was very knowledgeable. He listen to what we wanted and gave us some ideas of other options. The work was performed in a timely manner. The building inspector told us it was a great job.

The work was fine and gets an 'A' in every category except price. There they get a 'B.'

Called company and described the problem and was told that someone would call back the same day to schedule an estimate. Did not receive call back, so I called them again a number of days later. Received call back with apology and electrician came out the same day to provide estimate. Scheduled the job for one week. They showed up on time, did work as initially described and even with an added perk of boxes that were added with wiring to easily convert to additional outlet if desired in the future. Very friendly and easy to work with. The bid was well below what another electrician quoted for the same work done.

They charged by the hour and the price went over the estimate. Apparently it was more work than they anticipated. It took two visits to get the outlet working properly. In the end, they got it to work correctly.

There was some degree of urgency to this simple project. There were safety concerns. The company was understanding and got to my little job very quickly. They were willing to accommodate that I couldn't be present while the work was done, and they checked with me by phone.

Great! They sent a very experienced electrician who knew how to work with the eccentricities of old houses. He was a very nice person, worked fast and got the job done well.

KWK showed up to walk through and see the work we wanted done. I was told by the representative that they would be sending an estimate that week, but I never received anything.

At first it was strange because they kept paying more attention and giving more details to the fan issue to my male tenant than to me(the owner). Guy also didn't clean up and throw away replaced outlet, so I had to do that. They were punctal, and they advised me against my initial instinct to replace fan on kitchen. They pointed it was a nicer model Casablanca and I should try to see if it could be fix as they determine that the electrical problem was with the fan box and not the fan. The guy was actually nice enough to have someone else look at the fan for no extra cost. At this point the repair of the fan is more expensive than a new less nicer model, so they will install the new fan. That work is being charged separately. They were cheaper than others for the trip and hourly charge.

Excellent work; kept within estimate and time. Worked with us to meet our needs, yet keep to code. Great follow-up and ongoing service when needed. Willing to give advice when needed.

Overall, the company got the job done and the price was fair. There were a lot of miscommunications along the way. I do not live in the area and I wasn't able to keep a watch on the project. I trusted them to keep after the work, until it was completed, however, their promised completion dates kept slipping. I finally had to get short with the owner and I must say, he did come through at the last minute. I would not hesitate to use them for normal day to day type problems, but if you have a major project, you may need to monitor the progress on a daily bases. Their clean-up could be a little better, but it was 8:00PM, when they finally finished and they were beat!

They were very busy, but responsive. It took a while to have somebody on site. I did not ask them to expedite as it was not an emergency. Jim, the man in charge at my job was very efficient and helpful. The job was done quickly and entirely to my satisfaction.

They have plenty of people so it's easier for them to get to you.

Everyone I spoke with and interacted with was pleasant, polite, and helpful. I was able to get service the next day. The electrician was prompt; in fact, he called to tell me he could arrive earlier than scheduled. He found a potential problem with the circuit and eliminated some potential contact points in junction boxes. He also returned the following week to bring and install a matching outlet cover that he didn't have with him when he installed the outlet.

Overall, the employees were very neat, clean and prompt in relation to getting the job done. The estimating process was a bit lengthy. I had to have two people scheduled at different times to estimate the job. The first person came in and looked at what was involved. Then the second person came a different day and estimated the job. They were very accomodating with my personal schedule.
