Kashou Carpets

Irene was very helpful with the selection process. They're pricing was very competitive. They have a wide range of options in all budgets.

They were very straight forward. There was a delay for a couple of days but they called and let us know which we appreciated. When I went to pick them up they were rolled up and ready to go and they helped me transport from the car to the shop and vice a versa when I picked them up. I also felt the price was excellent.

They showed up on time, completed the work promptly and did an excellent job which still looks great a year later.

We had a good deal when we bought the carpets but when they washed my carpet it looked dirtier but I didn't call them and complain.

They came when they said they would and brought them back when they said they would, no issues. I would certainly recommend them. The price was reasonable and they were responsive.

The service I received was above excellent. They did something special. Bud Kashou himself came out to do the estimate and the measurements. We had some very heavy entertainment center pieces and we asked about moving them and if their people could do all that. He said that they would do it for a nominal price of $75, which I thought was extremely reasonable, because these pieces are huge and heavy. His service people came out; they definitely took charge of that and made it look easy. They just did a wonderful job without disturbing us or anything. The installation was excellent too. There were parts of the carpeting which had big cuts to a curved section along the fireplace and one wall, and they had no problem doing that. It wasn't just one curve, it was like a wavy line ten to twelve feet long, and it just went in and out. The tiles at the place that they were carpeting, up against this curvy line, were a little bit higher. So they had to make some concessions to make it look like it didn't just jump up to this level. They had to do some leveling things with the carpets, so you don't even notice that it's not at the same level. They did a very professional job.

My diningroom carpet had some wrinkles due to excessive water when cleaning. (Another company.) I called Kashou's. The installers came out. Moved furniture and restretched carpeting. I'm very pleased with the results and felt the price was very reasonable.

I have been there in the past, and they did a really good job. They have a good selection. They know their products. They have good ability, and they aren't pushy. They have a really nice selection and good quality. They stand behind their products. They have about three floors of carpet. I decided to go because they're close by. The price wasn't bad. They don't try to trick you; they explain everything.

I dropped off rugs at their East side showroom. The sales people were very informative. When I picked up, the sales folks carried my rolled rugs to the car and loaded them for me. The rugs are in like new conditiion, back to front. The fringe remains in good shape. Well worth the cost compared to the original investment on annual basis. I have had other area rugs cleaned by the steam method at my home however this causes a problem as to where do I dry a large rug flat and off the hardwood floors. The fringe gets a beating with the suction. This company solved my problem.

We have used them a couple of years before for the same job. We are very satisfied with their service. The job was well done and it was a quality work.

Every aspect of our experience with Kashou, from our salesman Jerry to the installers Jesse and Jeff, was excellent. We had looked at many, many different carpet stores but couldn't find a runner that we liked. Jerry is a very pleasant sales person to work with. He helped us find a carpet we liked from Kashou's huge selection, and it was made into a runner for us. He explained the pluses and minuses of a wool carpet rather than synthetic for the stairs and the options for edging. He was able to schedule installation so that we didn't have to wait a month while they finished a huge commercial job, and the installers gave up their holiday Monday to fit us in. From start to finish, everything about the installation was impeccable. We never realized the amount of labor -- measuring, fitting, cutting, and surging -- that goes into a stairs runner. Jerry had already planned how the carpet should look in the corners of each turn. Jesse did an amazing job centering the pattern and cutting the carpet so it matched perfectly from the foyer to the second floor, which wasn't easy with pie-shaped treads in the corner and with a landing involved. He even offered to make us an area rug from the excess carpet and centered the main medallion of the pattern perfectly on that. The surging on both the runner and this extra area rug is perfect. We couldn't be happier. Even the cats love the feel of the carpet and are taking naps on it. I've already sent before-and-after photos to our families and would post some here if I could. We will definitely use Kashou for our carpeting needs again.

KASHOU IS AN EXPERT WHO LOVES ORIENTAL RUGS AND REALLY SEEMS TO WANT THE BEST FOR YOUR RUG RATHER THAN THE BEST FOR HIS POCKETBOOK.

THIS RUG STORE IS A GREAT FIND. LIZ IS A WONDERFUL SALES WOMAN WHO IS HELPFUL, INFORMATIVE AND NOT PUSHY AT ALL. WE HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH HER HELP FINDING THE RIGHT RUGS FOR OUR HOME AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB CLEANING OUR OLD RUG. THEY EVEN DELIVERED AND PLACED OUT RUGS IN OUR HOME, MOVING FURNITURE AND EVERYTHING TO DO SO, FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. WE ALSO WERE UNSURE ABOUT ONE RUG AND SHE LET US TAKE IT HOME, PUT IT DOWN AND SEE WHAT WE THOUGHT. WE LOVED IT, BUT LOVED KNOWING WE HAD THE OPTION OF TAKING IT BACK.

THEY GUY WHO DID THE INSTALLATION WAS VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. THEY DID CUT ONE AREA RUG PAD A LITTLE SHORT, SO THEY DID GIVE ME A NEW ONE.

WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH KASHOU. WE REALLY WANTED WOOL CARPET, BUT HAD A LIMITED BUDGET. THE SALESMAN DIDN''T TRY TO SELL US SOMETHING WE COULDN''T AFFORD. HE TOOK US RIGHT TO THE BASEMENT WHERE THEY HAVE THEIR IN-STOCK CARPETING. WE FOUND BEAUTIFUL WOOL CARPET AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. VERY PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION. I WISH I COULD REMEMBER THE SALESMAN''S NAME, BECAUSE HE WAS VERY NICE!!!
