IT Bytes

I turned on my computer one day and it's normally quiet operation was overshadowed by the sound of a garbage disposal. After several attempts to diagnose and repair the system myself I decided it would be better to have a professional look at the beast. I really wanted a service that did home repairs as the computer is 70 lbs and I didn't feel like lugging it around town. After several calls from the yellow pages and being told that I was outside of their service range I found luck with IT Bytes.....I'm glad I did. Laura came to my home and diagnosed several possible causes. She took my computer to her office and let me know that the problem stemmed from defective hard drive fans and a corrupted disk. Since the computer was still under warranty Laura went the extra mile to contact the builder of the unit to have the replacement sent to her. She also handled the purchase and installation of a second hard drive which I reimbursed. Laura also went out of her way to let me know how much bloatware I had on my old hard drive and tutored me on how to keep my machine running at top performance with only NEEDED software, i.e. anti viral, anti malware etc. IT Bytes is a small company but their professionalism, responsiveness and communication is outstanding.
