Description of Work: I have used Mark on several occasions for various home projects/updates. He has always been prompt and his prices are very reasonable. I am about to have some more work done in my house and plan to call him back again.

 + -1 moreSee above. Mr Horaitis informed us that the cable to the garage had not been installed according to code by a previous owner of the house. However, he did not propose a redo of the whole thing and provide an estimate of the cost. He did give us a rough estimate of the cost of installing another heating cable on the roof.
Description of Work: Mr. Horaitis arrived about a half hour after I called. I showed him the underground cable to the garage that I had tried to repair after whacking it with my tiller. He went into the basement to see where it was leaving the house. He went to his truck and got a spade and dug a little deeper. He then spliced the two ends by adding a small piece of cable. He then buried the whole thing in the deeper hole and then turned on the power to that circuit to make sure everything was working again. He wrote up his bill, and I paid him. Before he left, we discussed having him install another heating cable over our front door.

 + -1 moreI was in town from Los Angeles visiting my family while work was being done on the staircase of the house by Home Restoration Unlimited, whose information I got from my Angie's List add-a-city account. Hal from HRU gave me the number for Horaitis electric to help me get the oven troubles solved. My mother called and the guys came over that day. They were punctual, friendly and professional. I am very pleased with service from both companies and would recommend them to anyone. They were wonderful.
Description of Work: The circuit breaker for the oven wouldn't work after a power outage at the home of my mother and grandmother. The guys came over very promply and punctually, found the cause of the problem and had the oven and circuit breaker sorted out within fifteen minutes. They began with the circuit breaker, then came upstairs, pulled out the oven and adjusted all the connections until they found the source of the problem. They were very friendly and made me feel confident in their abilities. I think their price was INCREDIBLY reasonable and the oven is working well!

 + -1 moreWe were having trouble with the circuit continuing to flip on our microwave. I called Mark to come out. I got his name from our parish bulletin. He came out the next day and found that it would need a separate circuit put in. He came out again a couple days later and finished the work. The microwave no longer trips the circuit and eating is good again.
Description of Work: Put in a separate circuit breaker for our microwave.
