The original carpet installation was fine. It was when the original installers were called back to look at the stairs that was an issue. It was relayed to me before the appointment that the installers would inspect the installation and take pictures so appropriate feedback could be provided back to the Home Depot store. I was not able to be at this follow-up appointment as I could not miss work, so had my brother there instead, who relayed to me through text what was going on as it happened. From the start, it was clear that the installers felt they were only there to explain that what was originally done was correct and NOT do any additional due diligence, such as take pictures. After several minutes of insisting they were correct and several requests from my brother asking them to take pictures, they hesitantly complied. After this negative appointment I called the installation group associated with Home Depot to ask them to send a different set of installers because, at this point, I had zero confidence in the workmanship performed (whether right or wrong). I have never been met with such condescending, rude behavior, especially from people in the business of providing service. They berated me for not being there and pretty much called my brother (who had relayed through text what was happening as it happened) a liar, saying they got a different story from the installers that had inspected the stairs. I am not even concerned about the stairs at this point. From the beginning, I was more than willing to accept that this is just how stairs are installed and get over it, if that's what I was told upon inspection, AND there was proof to back that up. What I am appalled about is the treatment received from the installers and the rest of the "crew" contracted out by Home Depot. I would NEVER recommend going through Home Depot for any type of service after this experience. I am extremely disappointed.

Home Depot's contractor measured for door; referred to me as 'lady". Door came in and contractor sent person to install door who told me the entire time he was there that he was a professional. Installed door and replaced molding around door, but the wood he used was not the same size as the previous frame which meant caulk filling between door frame and ceramic floor. Did not measure accurately as have a 1/8 - 1/4" showing of old wood in the frame - no measures taken to correct. Added a piece of quarter in molding at top of door, again possibly due to incorrect measuring. The wood piece not secured and fell off hitting me in the head! Door pockets were not insulated as most installers due and gaps were left resulting in small but noticeable draft. Had to remove the storm door and when put back on was not installed correctly and things they did not do correctly with the interior door resulted in solid ice on the interior of the storm door all winter. Contacted Home Depot about all the issues, they sent their contractor back who continued to be disrespectful and refer to me as lady. Found the draft and recaulked things the installer missed. Still had solid ice on the door which they insisted was normal (really). Ultimately they replace the storm door and this had a thinner frame then the previous door, so have more wood showing. While they tried to fix their errors, it was not completely done properly so used another big box contractor to install a more complex door and it was done to perfection - absolutely no issues. Also when they were installing the storm door, the installer asked me who the person was that installed the exterior door and when I told him he said there was no one like that or with that name on their crew which leads me to belive that the contactor subbed the job and could be why the install was so inferior. I have had three exterior doors replaced and this is the only one that has been done unprofessionally. Would not use again.

I use them all the time. Their prices were good in my opinion. They had a quick turnaround time because a lot of the other places we looked at took a lot longer to get the service out there.

It went great! I have no complaints. I recommend them.

Home Depot uses their own contractors. It was pleasant. It was frustrating not having a kitchen for that long of a period, but we were prepared for that. Overall, it went pretty good.

They did a good job. The only thing was they didn't clean up after work was completed and didn't put the furniture back.

I was extremely satisfied. They hired a sub contracter to install the carpet in my home. I did have to call them once and they were out the same day.

My experience at Home Depot is okay. You can t find someone to help you readily. Their quality is not as good. They have a limited variety of products.

They were not pushy and let us make up our own mind on what kind of stove we wanted. They were helpful in getting us the best price and stove for our money.

They have always been great. The young man that worked with us for the doors is studying to be an engineer and was extremely helpful. They walked us through every step and answered all questions thoroughly. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Right on time, very good installation. Very professional job, would recommend to anyone. Arrived a few minutes ahead of time. Took the time to answer all my questions.
