I had a phone call the night before confirming my service. Rita was professional and friendly. She was sending over 2 employees to do the deep clean the next day. She asked that I write out a priority list because 2 hrs is not a lot of time to do a clean on the house. I wrote out priorities ie. cleaning kitchen, focusing on refrigerator, wiping down microwave and cabinets, floors, etc.I also had prioritized which rooms needed to be cleaned. What happened was, each item on my list was completed, yet in the rest of the house, there were rooms untouched because they ran out of time. When the service was over, this is what the house looked like: Kitchen cleaned, but stove top left dirty, kitchen counters not wiped down, and dirty dishes were left in sink. Bathrooms cleaned, but hair was still left on the floors, bedrooms cleaned, but living room not touched with toys on floor, messy carpet,and no vacuum performed. Basement was on priority list, but not touched. Overall, I was so disappointed, I wasn't quite sure what do do. I signed up for a deep clean, but it was not. I know that they ran out of time, but little things like taking the time to pick up toys on your way out or rinsing the dirty dishes, that is common sense. That was my experience. I feel terrible because I know Rita has higher standards than this.

Overall, I was very pleased from start to finish. Team arrived promptly and worked tirelessly until the job was completed.

They seem great. Their price is adequate for the work that they do. So far they have been good and I’m pleased with their work.

I can't say enough about Rita and her service. They are meticulous and thorough! We have a very large home and have used many cleaning services in the past but I believe I have found a gem in Rita and her crew!!! I recommend them to whoever wants someone trustworthy, personable and knows how to clean!!!! She even wiped down the spindles on the stairway banister, that is thorough!

Top notch. Rita and team have been cleaning my home now for a little less than a year. Prior to Golden Maids I had an individual cleaning for me, so it was a different experience to have two or three people in to do the cleaning. It was nice to see the same smiling faces are here each time (with an occasional new person), and they have gotten to know my home and my preferences so they maintain that friendly, personal feel in their work. I appreciate that they ask when they are unsure of something, and they are responsive to my requests (and patient when I repeat myself!) An advantage of having a team familiar with my home is that they are fast and efficient as well as thorough, and my home is mine again quickly. Since I do some work from home this is very important to me. Rita tries to accommodate schedule changes or special situations, which really shows her dedication since I know they are very busy. They are dependable and show up when they say they will. They are a terrific team and I would recommend them to anyone looking for house cleaning.

Sokol and Rita run a wonderful cleaning service. They were very accommodating when I had concerns about my allergic reactions to many cleaning products, even offering to leave right then and there to purchase something different. We have found products that work, and I have no problems with allergies at all when they clean. They started out doing a deep clean of the house and then began cleaning every 2 weeks. The price has actually gone down because as the house becomes more and more clean, it takes them less time to clean. Sokol, Rita, Julie and the other lovely people who have come into my home have been wonderful and generous. Sokol helped me carry some furniture out to the garage, as well as rescue my cat from behind the stove! I highly recommend Golden Maid. Not only do they do a wonderful job, they are wonderful people. And isn't that what it's all about?

They are very punctual, have an attention to detail, and they do an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Rita and her crew are professional, friendly and reliable. I am always happy with the service and attention provided to my home. On rare occassion when some dust is missed under or behind furniture, Rita never hesitates to correct the matter.

They did good quality work, but they weren't flexible on their timing. I do not use them anymore. If you don't have kids or timing needs then I would recommend them.

Golden Maid is very prompt, professional and thorough. They were easy to reach on initial contact and came over right away to give a quote. I took quotes from a large chain, and independent person and Golden Maid. I decided to go with them because it seemed like their goals matched my wishes. The first time "deep cleaning' was superb! The continued work has been great! It is fantastic to see an independent local successful company! IF they are a tiny bit more expensive than a chain, then it's worth every penny because they are very conscientious! I highly recommend Golden Maid!

I contacted Rita through the email function of Angie's List and she got back to me within a few hours. She was very flexible in scheduling our first meeting. I found her to be very pleasant and very professional at that first meeting. We discussed what my needs were and she had questions of her own as we walked through my house. She proposed a time for the first housecleaning that fit my schedule extremely well. Her price quote was reasonable. The first housecleaning was meant to be extremely thorough and it was. They spent about 3.5 hours cleaning for a charge of $150. The subsequent cleanings don't take quite as long for a charge of $120. The cleaners that come are Rita's husband and sister-in-law. They get along with my difficult dog, and I find them to be pleasant and professional as well. They do a great job, and my house is very clean when they are done. I like that they are a family, so no "boss" is taking advantage of the people who do the work, and they have been in business for quite awhile, yet are still young enough to be able to handle the work. I would definitely recommend them.

They did an excellent job overall.

They are very helpful. We are really happy with their service. They are very friendly, thorough, efficient, personable and careful. They haven’t broken anything. So, they are good. I spend $190 every two weeks. They are a little pricey.

Excellent - Golden Maid as simplified my life by giving me the time to do the things I want to do outside my busy work schedule. I can come home and relax in a spotless house. It is so very nice. Thank you Rita!!

The service was excellent. Rita was extremely flexible in scheduling the cleaning. She and her husband were professional, timely and hard working. The house gleamed when they left! I plan to use them again for more regular cleaning.

Our experience with Golden Maid, overall, was very positive. We were extremely pleased with the thoroughness of the cleaning and the friendliness of those who were working on our house. We spent $160 for them to clean our entire house. Rita indicated that it would cost less per occurrence, should we decide to use them for regular cleaning services.

I initially had a little trouble contacting Rita by phone. But then I emailed her through the Angies List site and heard back from her right away. She answered all my questions and was able to schedule my clean very easily. Two people arrived on the agreed on date, right on time. They spent 2.5 hours and did a fantastic job. I was very happy with the service.

I have been looking for a housecleaner off and on for about 11 years. I have never found anyone that really cleaned satisfactorily.I chose Rita based on the comments from Angie's List and I have never been happier. She is thorough, punctual, and very professional. She even deals with our 2 dogs who tend to get in my way! We decided to have her clean our house every 2 weeks.I have no reservations about recommending Rita, we love her!

I hired this company because they made a very good presentation. The cleaning is high quality and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful.

Rita was great. She came by the house to look at it a few days before and showed up when she said she would. Great job overall. One small detail was forgotten and she said she would come back to take care of it without hesitating. Will definitely use again.

Overall good. Of course, I had the same person as a housekeeper for over 7 years and they get to know you and what is needed. So, it is different when you have someone brand new who doesn't know you ---and, of course, can't predict what you may want done or may expect as part of cleaning. Good general housecleaning. I am used to a bit more than just cleaning (ie, putting away laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc) but the cleaning is good and they have been very responsible coming in my house when no one home. Have only had them twice but so far it is good. update JULY Discontinued the service. I had been out of town (and home empty) for all but 3 days between cleanings and thought about canceling a scheduled cleaning but didn't. THere really wasn't much to do, so I thought it odd that even basic things were missed. While garbage bag was taken out and changed---I noted a smell a day after I came home and found some food under garbage bag in can. there was one pot on stove. It wasn't a terribly dirty pot---it was small and there weren't other dishes or anything. It just seemed like they could have washed that pot rather than wiped around it on the stove without touching it. While bath was cleaned--a small shelf holding a shampoo bottle clearly not touched. just seemed like a simple thing to lift a shampoo bottle to wipe a little shelf. I guess if my house was really messy or dirty a small thing may be missed, but i literally live alone and was only home for 3 days since their last cleaning. Nice person. TImely and responsible. Just wanted a different level of attention then they ended up providing.

Rita was very responsive to my call, she came to our house on a Saturday morning when I could be home to give me an estimate for the work and we made arrangements right away for her to come back to clean. They were prompt and friendly and ensured everyting was done to our satisfaction while they were cleaning. We have recommended them to friends and will use them again.
